Kelsey, you have no reason to apologize for what you said ... you did not cause the fuss.

I would like to add that I don't think good manners have anything to do with "age" or "generation". Just because someone is younger, they do not have the right to be rude. Good manners are timeless.

To the original poster ... congratulations on your new child and enjoy your party. There were some great suggestions made.
