Actually in Ca Brumzoo there are NO tags!! Never mind, I think you did understand that. Thats part of the problem. What most people don't realize is that hunting helps keep population in check and there is less likely a chance of this sort of thing happening. We will see more and more of it as the population increases and as they move into populated are because of lack of food and/or water, especially in burned areas.
And yes, humans are on top of the whole chain of the survival of the fittest. Lol.

This guy lived about an hr from where i am at.He is from St joe Missouri and lived for biking.

Not to change the subject, but what they were saying on the news last night (this happened in my area) is that the guy was probably crouching down trying to fix something on his bike. A mountain lion can't distinguish between somebody crouching down and a small animal or person. That explains the rarity of such a thing happening and why a man was attacked.
