Something weird happened the other night
I had put my son to bed and turned on the computer and I had the tv on. The tv is behind me when I am on the computer so I had turned to look at it and I smelled what smelled like my hubbys breath when he would kiss me goodbye in the morning after brushing his teeth. And it was only in that one spot. I don't use the same toothpaste anymore and there was no toothpaste or anything even remotely minty in my living room.

I think DH was giving you a kiss!! He probably wanted you to know he loves you and is still with you!!
Sometimes it is hard to let go of a memory, especially if you remind yourself of it everyday.

Oh of course it was!! I sometimes smell my late husband around my apartment too...it's comforting to me.

Enjoy those times.........they're special!
My best friend passed 6 yrs ago while driving home after i had told him he couldnt crash at my house that night..i blamed myself for a long time
But he used to come back and do wierd stuff all the time....like turn his pictures down(lay them down so ya cant see them)make the TV volumn go way up.......i could go on.
And when things happened i would always smell his after shave
sometimes when driving in my truck(i keep a pic of him there always hanging from mirror)and almost wrecking once i smelled him sitting beside me like he was there......i know he wasnt tho!
It good when we have those special moments to let us know our loved ones are still with us.......
I miss you terribly Shaun Thomas!I finally found the one man not like all the rest!
