Fabric softener works like a charm. If you don't have sheets, you can use a spray bottle and mix about half water and half fabric softener. Spray the places that they sleep and the main areas they walk. You could even rub a little on them with your hand. And it will make your house smell good too!
Some mornings it's not worth the effort of chewing through the restraints.

when kids were younger and we had no money to buy humidifer,we filled clean soup cans with water and stuck them in the heat vents, and just refilled when needed..helped a lot ....

I spray Static Guard everywhere when it gets too dry. It helps. I spray it on the carpets and the curtains.
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.

I usually just keep water steaming on the stove, also, but this time of year I love to add cinnamon sticks and orange peel spices for an added bonus of great smells of the holidays!

Welp, I will probably be hearing them have kitty nightmares tonight >>>
The poor baby (Baby-appropriately named)! I made popcorn in microwave earlier. I put it in a bowl, set the bowl on the table, then started to get my water.
I took a drink of water, turned just in time to see the bowl pop a few kernels, JUST as the Baby jumped onto the chair and was looking at the bowl.
MAN did she puff up and duck, yes duck under the table!!
Now I know where the term "scaredy cat" comes from.
didn't help that I laughed and sprayed her with my water...
Stay tuned for more exciting episodes.

Re: help! A Shocking situation

Ok, this is funny-but I need help all the same.
I have 4 cats, right now they hate each other because they are full of static, (imagine 4 furry blowfish). The problem is that they pass each other and zap each other, then about want to kill each other, thinking that the other one zapped them.
The two that just did it, ...umm, there was a tiny blue spark. The baby ran-right into the wall. The one that she zapped pounced and well, lots of sparks and lots of hissing.
I have never had this problem before. What the heck can I use that won't be toxic to them?
*I* use a laundry sheet and wipe down with it, hair and all-works a miracle on me.
You know you really oughta submit this to some magazines. I bet they would publish it. This is one of the funniest true stories I've heard in a while. Soon as I read it earlier today I just had to go burst in on my hubby in the bathroom to tell him about it. He even cracked up about it, and it's hard to make Mr. Serious laugh. So I think they would publish this story.
NEW ! => ISO LIST! please L@@K and see if you have something I need.
