Go to Start --> Programs --> Expand all your programs and look for Adobe Acrobat 4.0 and uninstall this program.

If you can't uninstall it this way, or if you can't find 4.0 then go to Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs and look for Adobe Acrobat 4.0 and Remove it this way.

Then shut your machine down for about 2-3 minutes, then try downloading 6.0 and installing it.

Let me know how you make out.

lol...you won't believe this but it won't work either way. I found it in my shortcuts and I clicked on uninstall but it said it couldn't find it so I tried option 2 and the only acrobat listed is 5.0 AAAAHH!!!

Thank you for asking, just had to do some minor maintenance to it.
Its going to start snowing tonight right into Sunday and were expecting 10 to 18 inches in the Boston area, and I live right on the ocean so we'll get the worst of it...

I think this is going to be as far as I can take you on the Acrobat subject without going into your registry, and thats something I don't want to get into.

I'm glad that I could help with everything else, keep those instructions close buy and do a scandisk and defrag once a week...

    Take care..
