Need help fast please, about sore throat
Dh has a really bad sore throat. He has tried just about everything the store has and nothing is helping him. Is there anything maybe homemade that might help him.
I did hear about the gargling with vinager/water mixture but he wont put vinager in his mouth lol

He might have strep, best bet is to get to the Dr. and get an antibiotic, I know my mom used to swear by an asprin dissolved in warm water, but if he is running a temp, I wouldn't reccommend that.

I would suggest him be checked out at the Dr.s, sounds like it could possibley be strepped throat, it's going around here big time!

Try warm water with salt in it, and have him garggle with it. An old time remedy from my mom. Good Luck

Warm salt water will do it. If you can get some hydrogen peroxide and gargle with that, it will help. If that doesn't do it, to the doctor to check for strep or something else. Too many virus's are floating around right now.

I went to the dr Tues for Sore Throat. I have sinusitis, its still driving me crazy. I got a HUGE dose of amoxicillin. Dr told me to gargle warm salt water with a bit of vinegar in it. I know you said he wont do it, but thats my only suggestion. Ive been sucking down the hot tea and Halls cough drops.

gargle w/warm salt water. That will numb the pain. But have him get checked out by the Dr. I was bullheaded 2yrs ago and wouldn't go see dr, well I ended up getting sick big time and was told I had strep for a good month before it was treated.

Have tou tried Chloraseptic spray? That's what my mom gae us when we were kids.

Thanks guys. I told dh he might have strep but he says no it will go away in a few days. typical guy lol I tried to give him salt water but he didnt want it. I dont understand him, he moans that he doesnt feel good then when I try to help him feel better he wont do it.
I am going to go to the store tomarrow and get more honey and tea for him, hopefully He will try that.
Cant go to the dr yet, we dont have insurance. As soon as it takes affect I am making him an appt.
