    you can get shingles on most any part of the body, a friend of mne had them on her midsection, me I got mine on my hands. Why the hands I have no idea. My fingers hurt so bad I was off work almost 2 weeks. Since chicken pox and shingles are basically the same do you know you can transmit chicken pox from your shingles.
    As they said before the virus never leaves your body. But the next time you catch shingles it will be in another part of your body, and they do hurt!!!

    I had chicken pox way back when, and in 1995 I underwent chemo, and because of my immune system being so low I came down with the shingles, and chicken pox at the same time.

    Needless to say I was put in quarentine for two weeks, with massive dossages of antibiotic drip every eight hours for those two weeks.

    I would rather take a beating from five of my biker brothers everyday for two weeks then go through that again.
    On second thought maybe just two brothers...
