    done deal !!!

    I've been in the carpet business for 15 years now.... unfortunantly its a done deal. kool-aid has "food dye" in it...it has actually dyed your carpet. There is only one product that can remove it...its a red dye remover...I think its called kool out or red out. you can get it at janitorial supply places that carry carpet cleaning products. you use a steam iron and a wet terry cloth towel. it is a dye remover...or have it patched. anything else is a waste of time and money

    oh! thank you!! spyfox! I had forgot all about that product! I also was in the cleaning business for many years and I have used that before and totally forgot until you reminded me! I well tell my son first thing in the morning! he well be so happy to hear! thanx again!

    there is a great spray for carpet called spot magic.it gets out everything from kool-aid to chocolate!!it's by the resolve at the store.

    ladybreaker! thanx for the tip! but the carpet experts at the carpet store says that resolve sets a stain if it doesnt get it out making it harder to get the stain out if it doesnt get it out the first time! the chemical in resolve does this,,this is what the carpet experts said!
