My little man should be home in an hour
first day of first grade. I am really surprised I didn't get a call from the school because this is the first time he is away from me since his dad died and he has started to cry about it alot the past 2 days. I hope he had a good day. I can't wait to find out.

oh my goodness! im sorry to hear about your loss. maybe the school knows what transpired and are more sensitive to your sons needs right now. maybe it got his mind off the tragidy that you were faced with. my thoughts go out to you!

I hope he had a good day too. My daughter is in first grade as well and they started a few weeks ago. She loves school and hates when they have 3 or 4 day weekends. She would go to school everyday if it was possible.

Awwww,I bet he will like school though,at least I hope he does.Nothing will take away the pain he feels, but just maybe it will help take his mind off of it.My son started first grade on August 5th and he loves it.As a matter of fact,he got "student of the week" this week.I'm proud of the little toot.
Please just stay strong DOOFIS.Let us know how he made it.((((((HUGS))))))
