Kittens Under My Bed!!!
My cat just had kittens under my bed!!! At about 6 a.m. this morning I started hearing a tiny meowing. I jumped up out of bed and came into my dining room and hear she came with a kitten in her mouth and ran right under my bed. I tried to coax her out and into the nice box I had made for her but no going and she had 2 more under there. All is quite now and I have 3 new meowing kittens right under my bed. Don't think I'm going to be getting much sleep until the are old enough to be moved. They are cute though 1 gray 1 tiger striped and a calico. Just don't know if I can stand the meowing in the middle of the night. Well now mamaw is going to be fixed. No more kittens in this house. lol

You can move them. Just be gentle and put them in the box you made for them. Our cat had kittens in her "bed", up on top of a shelf on a piece of foam one morning while I was at work. That afternoon we found them and one had feel off to the floor(
) so we put them in the box we had set up for her. She never tried to move them. We didnt fool with them much when they were real little, but we did move them before they were 12 hours old.

She will move if you move the kittens. Don't worry. I wish I was near Ohio, I'd take the calico in a heartbeat.
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.

Some one told me not to move them until the were at least 2 weeks old or she might refuse to feed them. Is this true or just a old tell?

If you move them ONCE, and dont bother them anymore, they should be fine. If what you were told is true, thered be kittens dying all over the place from where children handle them. Kids cantresist holding baby kittens. I think the worst thing that would happen would be if you handled them alot, she would move (hide) them. Thats why we just moved ours ONCE and then left them alone till their eyes were open.
