Under NO circumstances send them this information. I received something similar a while ago and sent it to e-bay. I told them my credit card information was just fine. They wrote back and said the e-mail was not from them.

I got one of those messages about 2 weeks ago. I forwarded it to ebay, it was not from them a spoof!

update ( & I still am confused) 
that letter WAS from them....wrote & answered 3 times
1-the decline letter I posted
wrote back & said my bank has u pending in my system....no reason to be denied
2-o-well then credit card has been removed
wrote back no it has not been removed....nothing has changed in over 3 years
3- o-well-credit card is expired
wrote back wrong

long story short
for no reason they can explain I had to re-submit everything...now we'll see how long verification takes.

In over 3 years nothing like this has happened and I see it as no coincidence it happened AFTER I changed my email (dropped aol) I guess I should have expected it not to go smooth!!!
I can't believe they say they will NEVER ask you for account & password info in an email and yet they did just that!! I still didn't trust the email links & went directly to the secure sign on
lesson learned....no easy way to fix ebay probs!!
