Oooh, I love all of her books. Pracitaclly wore them out. I wonder if I would get weird looks at the library if I checked them out.

I read it and it was OK, but I was kinda disappointed in the ending. I really like Judy Blume as an adult writer tho. (OK, I read Fudge and Superfudge and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing too)

Kel, I just re-read A Wrinkle in Time this year. Its by Medeline L'Engle (I think that's how it's spelled)

DreamWarrior take it out and read it now! lol it is a great book I finished it last night. At first I didnt like how the ending was going but by the time I finished it I thought the ending was I guess not what you'd expect but what you probably should have expected.

Wrinkle in Time is one of my all time favorites, young adult or adults. I love all of Madeline L'Engle's books. She writes awesome young adult books, but really great adult books too. She wrote a book about her marriage called "Two-Part Invention" - really great book. She was married for like 50 years, until her husband died of cancer - he was an actor, for the last part of his life on All My Children.

I never knew that Madeleine L'Engle was married to Hugh Franklin (Dr. Charles Tyler). I guess you learn something new every day.

I didn't know that either until I read that book (which I picked up at a library sale, lol). And they had such a sweet courtship and marriage - really strong. That book is really inspirational, and I'm not a big fan of "inspirational" type books. She's devoutly Christian, but not in an evangelical way - more in an intellectual, this is whay I have to do to fill my soul and understand the world sort of way, and she questions it, questions everything, and makes you think, but makes you believe and wonder right along with her. She makes you see how you can be spiritual and weave that into your everyday life and your marriage without it becoming something overpowering. I tell you, I cried so hard reading that book, but I laughed and got chills too - she's so wonderful with words and ideas. It's a book I recommend to everyone
