Thread: What was your worst blind date?

I've had several. I think the worst was with a guy who had been a professional ice skater. He took me ice skating even tho I had never been on skates. He ws showing off and split his pants. Took me to his place to change and the next 2 hours showed me all his ice skating pictures. He was so into himself he didn't notice how bored I was. LOL

Met a guy online once, when I lived in Oregon. The pic he had sent had to be at least 20 years old! But, anyway, we talked for awhile, and even though he was ooooooold, I decided there'd be no harm in spending an afternoon with the guy. He took me to the coast, about an hour away via a very windy highway. Well, we are about 20 miles outside of town, when he cracks open a bottle of beer, while he's driving! I asked him not to drink, he refused to stop. We argued, he yelled, "Fine!" and tossed his bottle out the window I was sitting next to...well, my window was UP and when the bottle hit, it shattered the window and I was covered in glass. Oh, and did I mention that I had my dog with me??? <UGH!> When we finally got to a town, I convinced him to stop at a gas station, and I took me dog in and called the police. He figured out what was up when he saw them pull in, so he hauled a$$ and the cops took me back home. That guy came to my apartment late at night, sloppy drunk, and had to be taken away by the police each time (one of those times, he managed to hook my staircase on the back of his van and tear it off!).

OMG- A friend of my cousins was such a loser. Many, many years ago. He needed something out of his glove compartment and a barbie like doll fell out. Really freaky. I don't think I ever stopped running-LOL.

I have told the story before about the guy who picked me up in his truck which was hooked up with the HUGE speakers - we are going to a club with my friends (who set this up) following. He starts to go down the street and turns the music up so loud I thought my ears must have started bleeding - so I asked him to turn down the stereo so we could talk. He looks at me and says "No b!tch is going to tell me to turn down my sound" At this point he pulls up to a red light. I pick up my purse, open the door and walked to my friends car and get in with them. This guy can't take a hint - he follows us to the club and keeps bugging me - I am telling him the date is OVER - and he is standing there yelling and cussing at me the entire time we are waiting to get in. Finally I found one of the bouncers (A friend) and they tossed my "date" out.

May not be the "worse" blind date - but surely one of the shortest.

I was recently seperated from my ex, and a girl that I worked with hooked me up on this blind date. I knew immediately that we had nothing in common, but I thought I might as well go-nothing better to do. When we walked in the bar the first person I saw was the girl who came between me and my ex. Now mind you, he was no prize and I was honestly glad to be rid of him, but this girl had gone too far. She told me I should have had an abortion, broke in my house, and many other nasty things for two years. I walk into a club with this guy and see her and you guessed it, the fight was on. She had three or four of her friends with her, but I didn't care. I pointed at her and then punched my fist to signal to her what she was about to recieve. She came over with her friends and started screaming at me so I hit her in the face four or five times. I am not a violent person nor do I advocate acting like that, but it was buliding in me for so long that I had to get it out. The guy I was with was stunned. Security pulled us apart and threw us out. I followed this guy out so he could take me back to my car. The other girl was walking out behind us with her tail between her legs and no friends to be seen. She asked the security guard to walk her to her car and I told him that he had better do it or I was going to finish the job in the parking lot. The only other thing that my date said to me is "Where did you park". I am so embarassed and wish to this day that I could appologize to him. Believe it or not, I am actually friends with this woman now. She married my ex and is as miserable as the day is long. I want to feel sorry for her, but I just can't. Myhusband now is so much more of everything I want in my life. She worked so hard at making my life miserable, but she got the hamburger and I ended up with a T-bone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, where do I start!

I had my best friend in High school set me up on 2 blind dates. I refused to go out with anyone she set me up with after that! LOL!! Anyway, the first blind date. My friend was dating this guy and she told me his friend was cute....NOT!!!! Very unattractive!! He was ugly!! Anyway, I went on the date, we double dated, they took us to Burger King for dinner, EEWWW!! then they took us to a play at the local college, I found out later that my friend actually purchased the tickets....Anyway, they made us walk through the snow in high heels, they did not go and get the car for us and pick us up, then we went back to my friends house to watch a video...My friend is making out with her date during the movie, then the guy that I am with decides to lay down on the couch putting his head in my lap, then he decideds to poke holes in my sweater, moving his hand up and up, Anyway, I keep pushing him off me, he had to have at least 10 hands, it was horrible. He was all pimply and gross, That was one date...

My second blind date was with my friend and her boyfriend again, this is a different boyfriend... Anyway, this guy spoke NO english at all.....He was Hungarian.. He seemed nice, his friend translated for us when we talked, basically I just sat there and my friend and the 2 guys talked, anyway, at the end of the night, he suddenly speaks in English, "will you have sex with me??" I was completely shocked...Understand, I am a christian and I was only 19 and very niave....Anyway, I laughed at him and said NO very firmly, he jumped out of my car and went in the house, in the meantime, I am not in a good neighborhood and I am sitting in my car waiting for my friend, so I waited and I waited, she comes to the car and asks what is going on so I tell her. Anyway, the next day she tells me that her boyfriend had taught his friend to say "will you have sex with me" He told his friend that it ment that he was asking me for another date. He was devestated when I laughed at him because he thought he was asking me out. He moved back to Hungary and I never saw him again!

Anyway, that was the last time that I went out on a blind date. Now I am married to a wonderful man who loves me very much. I now can look back and laugh at these dates, but, at the time it was a bit upsetting!!!

when i was in HS, a girl I worked w/ at mcdonalds wanted to fix me up with her friend. i dont even know how old she was, around 18 or so, but she was married and the friend was a friend of her and her hubbys. i said, ok. she was a very nice person, so i figured that he would be nice too. (i was only 16) well they all came over to my house, and i was so afrid to open the door. he looked homeless! all of his teeth were black or missing. he was dirty, long dirty hair, like he was homeless! he did bring me a rose, but he was not what i expected! i did not have any fun at all. we went to the river and the 3 of them swam, and they were jumping off the small bridge that crosses the river and there was no way that i was getting in the water! i dont swim well and just what i need to is drown and have someone with nasty hygine do cpr on me. ICK! i learned early about blind dates!
