I did have allot of the artist buying the emu eggs from me on ebay and they sell them for high prices! You should see the emu eggs carved they have 3 different layers of colors.
Go on ebay and do a search for carved or etched egg, they carve emu, ostrich, rea, duck and chicken eggs.NEW ! => ISO LIST! please L@@K and see if you have something I need.

When we had geese we used to sell our rotten (yes you read right, rotten) goose eggs to a lady that did this type of work.
She said that when they had been set on they were easier to clean, we candled them at 10 days so they were not at the smelling stage.
She used a dentist drill to do the work because it is so detail.
