Since quitting it seems that I am dreaming more than I did when I smoked. Or at least I remember greaming more now. Has this happened to any of you?

    quit smoking

    Hi everyone,

I have been searching for a support forum and I found you all. I quit smoking just last night. I feel pretty rough. Smoked for more than 30 years and this is my umpteenth try to be done with it.

This time I ran out of money to buy them or I would still be puffin away feeling sick all the while. Smoking has really robbed me of my health! I have a devil of a cough and mentally I feel in rough shape too.

I look forward to being a part of this thread and thank you all for your willingness to be supportive. I will be very glad for it!

I have noticed that since quitting, I have been dreaming more often as well. I used to dream maybe once or twice a month, now I am dreaming almost everynight. I did dream about smoking once

Congrats denipink on quitting! You can do it, just try to do something to keep yourself and your hands busy when you have a withdrawl.

    Here are my most recent stats: Smober time: 2Months 2Weeks 5Days 2Hours 13Minutes 22Seconds amount saved $125.01 cigarettes not smoked 961. LIfe saved:3Days 8Hours 5Minutes.

I do have to say that I only stayed on the wellbuterin for 2 weeks because they gave me severe migraines. I continued on with my determination to quit as I felt that I could do it without anything to help me along! I DONE IT. I can't believe it has already been that long! I don't even miss them anymore I can't believe that if I wouldn't have quit that I would have already smoked 961 Cigarettes Man, that is alot. I am so glad that I am not smoking anymore, especially since I have had pneumonia and the flu all within the last 2 months. I can't imagine how I would be feeling if I were still smoking and have these illness'

Thanks everyone for all the support you have provided.

Anyone else who is wrestling with the thoughts of quitting, just know that we are here to help and that you can do it!!!

thank you very much for your encouragement! you keep up the good work too! I am feeling sick myself and did prior to quitting so that helped me along in my decision. For everyone struggling with smoking, take it one day at a time -- you too can do this!

    Thumbs up Congrats to everyone!

I'm right behind you erwinmist! My stats: 2M 2D 1 h 58 m 51 s, Amount saved: $96.58, cigs not smoked: 946, Life saved 3 D 6h 50 m. I don't miss them either. I figured that it was the habit of having them around not the addiction for me. I can even watch someone smoke on TV and not want to smoke! I do have the Nicotrol inhaler which I only use it in very stressful times. Other than that I don't want them. To think of them makes me realize how disgusting it really is. And I tell if someone across the room smokes because I smell the smoke on them. Something that I didn't when I smoked. WELCOME denipink! Keep up the good work! You will notice how much better that you breathe..even food tastes better! Download the tracker so that you can keep up with your stats: http://www.silkquit.org/
You will be most amazed at how many cigarettes that you haven't smoked in just a week!
