WOW dcut .. you should be especially proud of yourself .. you smoked for a long time and that is really great you were able to kick it.
They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. Distance and time may separate us but friendship and memories won't.

I have to admit that although it has gotten to the point where I don't even think aboutsmoking much, I still miss the one after dinner...I guess it's because I see hubby going outside to smoke and getting out of cleaning up

I go tonight to join the gym(I know I was suppose to a LONG time ago) and start working on getting this body in shape, I will actually be able to walk on the tredmill without breathing so hard I would be emabarrased. good luck everyone who is still thinking about quitting and CONGRATS!!!!!!!! to everyone who has made it

    17 days smoke free!!!

Hi, all - glad I found this support group. Just wanted to let you all know that I smoked for 22 years and quit on June 23rd. I keep seeing that commercial that says every cigarette is hurting you. That has really helped me, because I HAVE NOT SMOKED 500 cigarettes!!
Good luck to all that are quitting. If at first you don't succeed - try, try again!! Julie.
