Fugi, got a question for you. Oh FOUSI!
What the heck sort of bird sings this time of night and all night long? It's definitely a songbird of some sort. Maybe a mockingbird? It has quite a variety of songs, not just squawking. And it's every night about 11 or so when I first hear it.

That would be my guess, we don't get them up here often or maybe a catbird? or after a couple of hurricanes a JayBird?

HA. Go ahead and post all the desserts you want. You're not getting to me. I had apricot chicken salad, hard rolls with herbed butter and a big, fat slice of Mile High Carrot Cake tonight at Morgan Street. 9" slice of cake, with cream cheese icing, rasberry sauce and real whipped cream. You can't hurt me tonight.

They make a seasonal beer here, I don't remember exactly what it's called. Sarah brought us out a brewski last summer. Little 4 oz. samples of all their beers. It smelled JUST like hickory smoke barbeque sauce. Was the same color. I didn't taste it, but by the look on dahubby and damommy's faces...it was pretty bad. Their honey wheat is very good though, and another. Have a great burger, the Brewhouse Burger or something, stuffed with goat cheese and covered with caramelized onions. Have a great menu...excellent chef. Hopefully she'll just whip something up for Sarah to take to Rob's for dinner next week!

Rauch Beir (smoked Beer) originated in Bamburg Germany,
been there & it is Definitely an aquired taste. (Like drinking a BBQ)
But after 3 of them I didn't care about taste (or much else)
Sounds like a good place for eats & to try the other Beers
