Ok, so I did a little digging before I shared this (stole it off a friend's page). Unfortunately, the Washington Times link listed at the bottom of this graphic appears to be dead, so it made my work a little harder, but that work paid off.

The actual fax in question resides in PDF format in the Clinton Library. The quotation that is highlighted in this graphic can be found in the top paragraph on the 3rd page (numbered as P.04). The note from George Stephanopoulos is handwritten and is found on the cover page (1st page).

My friend Terry said it better than I could!

For the love of GOD fire this woman. This is why we get our ass handed to us. I believe it was the press secretary who was asked the other day if ANY of the proposed gun control measures would have stopped ANY of the terrorist attacks on US soil and he couldn't come up with one. This is nothing more than a gun grab and smoke screen. The no flylist is a joke and completely unreliable. The data this woman was asked for should be bread and butter information for her position and could help us target those that would harm our nation and she is either clueless or covering shit up.

I am not against legal imagration...at all. I think by bringing in the right people it will make our county stronger, but this is just sad. The vetting process needs to be strengthened because as it stands it is a weak point for our country, ripe for exploiting.

California governor declares emergency in response to San Bernardino attack

SACRAMENTO, Calif. | By Sharon Bernstein


California Governor Jerry Brown on Friday declared a state of emergency in San Bernardino County, following the massacre by an Islamic State-inspired couple at a holiday party for county workers.

Because the 14 people killed and 26 wounded in the terrorist attack were largely employees in the county's environmental health department, the massacre left San Bernardino County with too few health inspectors and others needed to carry out critical work, Brown said in his emergency proclamation.

Declaring an emergency will allow the state to send in health inspectors as replacements until the county is able to resume normal staffing, Brown said.

The declaration also allows the state Office of Emergency Services to provide other assistance to the county as needed.

As part of the declaration, Brown also ordered the suspension of all fees normally charged when residents request a death certificate or seek to bury someone.

The Dec. 2 attack was carried out by a county restaurant inspector, Syed Rizwan Farook, and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, at the offices of the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, where environment health department employees had gathered for a meeting and holiday party.

Prior reports had listed the number of wounded as 21, but Brown in his declaration cited 26.

Michelle Obama Tells Family Member of Terror Attack She’ll RAP in Victim’s Honor (VIDEO)

Michelle Obama recently made a rap video about going to college — and it’s probably one of her most embarrassing feats yet. Now she’s under fire for suggesting so absurd and insensitive, it is hard to see why even leftists are not offended by it. Check it out…

The President has come under fire from a local leader on his short stop-off in San Bernardino while on his way to his annual 16-day Christmas vacation in Hawaii.

Obama met with the families of the 14 who were murdered on December 2 by Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik during a holiday party at Farook’s work.

One local leader criticized the President for meeting only with relatives of the victims who lost heir lives in the attacks and accused him of ‘politicizing’ the tragedy in the weeks afterwards.

First Lady Michelle Obama joined her husband for the meetings at Indian Springs High School, just a short drive from the airport where Air Force One landed after the cross-country flight from Washington.

A separate table was set up for each family and the Obamas moved from one to the next, spending about ten minutes with each victim’s relatives…

…During the visit, Pifer told the Obamas about Johnson, how he loved life, his virtues and their future plans.

She also shared with them what she knows about his last moments: His colleague Denise Peraza, who survived the attack, said he huddled with her under a table as bullets flew across the room. He held her close and told her, ‘I got you.’ Peraza credits Johnson with her survival, and since then the phrase ‘I got you’ has spread across social media.

When she mentioned the phrase to the Obamas, they nodded, indicating it was a story they already knew, she said.

She brought a sign stating ‘#IGotYou’ that they all posed for a photo with it.

Johnson and Peraza are in the initial stages of planning a foundation in Johnson’s memory.

‘I feel like they’re on my side,’ she said.

‘They’re on our side. And that he’s going to keep working to make this better even after he’s left office. It’s personal for them.’

The Obamas encouraged her to reach out and promised to provide whatever support they could.

‘Mrs Obama she did say that she would rap or perform at our fundraising concert,’ Pifer said.

‘I will try to make her keep her word on that.’

Pifer said the Obamas’ visit was helpful.

Amid the chaos of the 2009 holiday travel season, jihadists planned to slaughter 290 innocent travelers on a Christmas Day flight from the Netherlands to Detroit, Michigan. Twenty-three-year old Nigerian Muslim Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab intended to detonate Northwest Airlines Flight 253, but the explosives in his underwear malfunctioned and brave passengers subdued him until he could be arrested. The graphic and traumatic defeat they planned for the United States failed, that time.

Following the attempted attack, President Obama threw the intelligence community under the bus for its failure to “connect the dots.” He said, “this was not a failure to collect intelligence, it was a failure to integrate and understand the intelligence that we already had.”


Most Americans were unaware of the enormous damage to morale at the Department of Homeland Security, where I worked, his condemnation caused. His words infuriated many of us because we knew his administration had been engaged in a bureaucratic effort to destroy the raw material—the actual intelligence we had collected for years, and erase those dots. The dots constitute the intelligence needed to keep Americans safe, and the Obama administration was ordering they be wiped away.

After leaving my 15 year career at DHS, I can no longer be silent about the dangerous state of America’s counter-terror strategy, our leaders’ willingness to compromise the security of citizens for the ideological rigidity of political correctness—and, consequently, our vulnerability to devastating, mass-casualty attack.

Just before that Christmas Day attack, in early November 2009, I was ordered by my superiors at the Department of Homeland Security to delete or modify several hundred records of individuals tied to designated Islamist terror groups like Hamas from the important federal database, the Treasury Enforcement Communications System (TECS). These types of records are the basis for any ability to “connect dots.” Every day, DHS Customs and Border Protection officers watch entering and exiting many individuals associated with known terrorist affiliations, then look for patterns. Enforcing a political scrubbing of records of Muslims greatly affected our ability to do that. Even worse, going forward, my colleagues and I were prohibited from entering pertinent information into the database.

A few weeks later, in my office at the Port of Atlanta, the television hummed with the inevitable Congressional hearings that follow any terrorist attack. While members of Congress grilled Obama administration officials, demanding why their subordinates were still failing to understand the intelligence they had gathered, I was being forced to delete and scrub the records. And I was well aware that, as a result, it was going to be vastly more difficult to “connect the dots” in the future—especially beforean attack occurs.

As the number of successful and attempted Islamic terrorist attacks on America increased, the type of information that the Obama administration ordered removed from travel and national security databases was the kind of information that, if properly assessed, could have prevented subsequent domestic Islamist attacks like the ones committed by Faisal Shahzad (May 2010), Detroit “honor killing” perpetrator Rahim A. Alfetlawi (2011); Amine El Khalifi, who plotted to blow up the U.S. Capitol (2012); Dzhokhar or Tamerlan Tsarnaev who conducted the Boston Marathon bombing (2013); Oklahoma beheading suspect Alton Nolen (2014); or Muhammed Yusuf Abdulazeez, who opened fire on two military installations in Chattanooga, Tennessee (2015).

It is very plausible that one or more of the subsequent terror attacks on the homeland could have been prevented if more subject matter experts in the Department of Homeland Security had been allowed to do our jobs back in late 2009. It is demoralizing—and infuriating—that today, those elusive dots are even harder to find, and harder to connect, than they were during the winter of 2009.

Haney worked at the Department of Homeland Security for 15 years.
