Here’s a message to women who’ve worked tirelessly for years, perhaps as researchers trying to end breast cancer, or to the Little Sisters of the Poor, having forsaken all earthly possessions to minister to the ill and dying, or to those West Point graduates or one of the first women ever to graduate from Ranger school — you can forget any recognition by one of America’s leading women’s magazines. Because none of THAT really qualifies you to be honored. Nope those aren’t even achievements.

What gets you the crown? Growing up yang and deciding you’re yin after all.

According to Gossip Cop, it seems the pentathlete formerly known as Bruce is due to receive Glamour Magazine’s Woman of the Year Award for 2015 (along with Reese Witherspoon who is still, as of this writing, identifying as a woman – we think)

“Caitlyn Jenner and Reese Witherspoon have been tapped to be the 2015 Glamour magazine “Women Of The Year,” a source exclusively tells Gossip Cop. The two women will be featured on covers of the December issue. This year’s “Women Of The Year” marks the 25th anniversary of Glamour bestowing the honor.”

Yes folks, Glamour Magazine has for all intents and purposes, decided to bestow the honor of “Woman of the Year” on a man.

I’m apparently not the only one confused and disappointed by this. Nicole Russell, a real woman writer for The Federalist put it this way:

“To prove either that they have reached the pinnacle of patriarchal leftism, or that they are making the biggest joke in the history of mankind (on us), Glamour magazine has named Caitlin nee Bruce Jenner “Woman of the Year.”

This is not only absurd, but patriarchal posturing at its finest; not to mention an insult to real women everywhere.

“What about Dafne Almazan? Just barely a woman, at 13, she has become the world’s youngest psychologist and according to Forbes is one of Mexico’s 50 most powerful women. This year on her birthday, Malala Yousafzai, winner of last year’s Nobel Peace Prize (the youngest winner ever), opened a school for Syrian refugees in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, near the Syrian border. Yousafzai was targeted and nearly killed by the Taliban for advocating for women’s education. She, too, is a worthy role model.

If Glamour’s staying stateside, why not consider Elizabeth Holmes, the college dropout who developed technology that can retrieve blood samples easier, cheaper, and with only a few pricks to the finger. Heck, even Taylor Swift would have made a better woman of the year, if only because of her philanthropy.”
Well said Ms. Russell, well said. And while I don’t judge Bruce Jenner for living what must have been (and continues to be) a very difficult life, I also don’t believe his actions should be elevated and celebrated as “achievements.” Heck, give an award to his team of surgeons and make-up artists, but don’t overlook the accomplishments of natural women who were truly “born that way."

An Open Letter to Bruce Jenner from a REAL Woman
    Posted on July 27, 2015 by Onan Coca

In a brutally honest, yet completely true open letter to transgender icon Bruce (AKA Caitlyn) Jenner, a real woman opens up of how offensive it is for Jenner to say that he “identifies as a woman.” Her name is Emilee Danielson and she recently crafted a brilliant social media post arguing that Jenner could NEVER understand what it means to “identify” as a woman because no matter how many operations he has he will NEVER actually be a WOMAN.

I challenge you to find anything about this letter that transgender proponents could dispute.

Shared from Emilee Danielson’s Facebook Page:

I've heard you say you "identify as a woman". But I find that highly unlikely and insulting. You see, Mr. Jenner, there is more to being a woman than beautiful gowns and fake boobs. There is more to being a woman than makeup and pretty hair. This is something we mothers begin teaching our young daughters at an early age.

As a woman of nearly 50 years, I can tell you what it is truly like to be a woman. You may be able to understand or even empathize, but you are definitely NOT able to "identify". For instance, you will never know what it is like to wake up every 28 days with searing stomach pain so bad it doubles you over, yet still trot off to work or school as though everything is fine. You will never know what it is like to have your car break down on the side of the road and when a couple men stop to help your prayer is that their intentions are good because there is no way on earth you have the ability to physically hang let alone overpower them. You have no idea what it is like to long to have a child only to have your third miscarriage, yet still manage to be able to share in the joy of all the other young mothers in your life. You will never know what it's like to get pregnant, gain 40 lbs (1/3 your total body weight), hurl all morning long for 4 months straight, yet still care for your other two toddlers, and not drive your husband to the brink. You will never know what it is like to give birth to a 10 lb. baby boy with absolutely no medication!!! You will never know what it is like at the age of 50 to be walking down the streets of Phoenix and popping in the Dairy Queen for a cool refreshing treat only to be gripped at that moment with your fourth hot flash of the day.

I have, in my life, met many women who have been widowed. For me to walk up to them and say I identify with them would be ludicrous. Like I said earlier, I can empathize with them, but I cannot identify myself as one of them because I don't know what that is like - I can only imagine. And let's not even talk about women who have worked through their double mastectomy.

No, Mr. Jenner there is more to being a woman than you could ever experience or even imagine. And lesson #1 for all true women is this - botox injections, plastic surgeries, designer clothing, and public approval is NOT what makes a woman. A real woman is one who in spite of the stretch marks, age spots, dirt under her nails and tired eyes, and even with 1/2 plastic photoshopped supermodels as her competition, she has carried herself in such a way that her family, husband, and children, see her real beauty and find her far more valuable than rubies or diamonds and they rise up and call her blessed.

Mr. Jenner you are a privileged white male living in the U.S.A. In fact, you are so free and so privileged, you can even spend your massive amounts of money to change your outward appearance to whatever you wish. That is NOT something most women around the globe are free to do even if they wanted. MOST women in our world don't even have access to a high school education. So, Mr. Jenner, I find your claim to identify as "a woman" disingenuous, uneducated, and honestly - quite offensive.

Transgender Advocates Cry Foul on UIL Decision to Use Birth Certificates for Athletes’ Gender
by Lana Shadwick 26 Oct 2015

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) will ask the school superintendents in Texas to vote on using a birth certificate to determine a student-athlete’s gender. The founder of the group TransAthlete.com cries foul, saying the proposed rule denies equal access to transgendered students.

The vote will be placed on a referendum ballot that will probably be distributed at the beginning of next year.

As reported by The Dallas Morning News, UIL’s policy director, Jamey Harrison, says the vote will not change the league’s current procedure. The UIL already advises school districts to use birth certificates when questions about gender arise.

The article in the Morning News states, “If passed, Texas would officially become one of the more restrictive states in the nation for transgender students.”

The news outlet received a statement from Chris Mosier, founder of the transgender advocacy group TransAthlete.com. He called the measure a “horrible policy” that would deny equal access to transgender students.

Transgender advocate Mosier was credited with saying, “Categorizing transgender student athletes by their birth certificates is among the least inclusive policies at the high school level. High school athletics should focus on enabling participation, not restricting it.”

TransAthlete.com has a list of the transgender policies set by the high school athletics associations in each state. The “grading” of the states for their policies are listed as (1) “Inclusive-no medical hormones or surgery required;” (2) “Needs Modification;” and (3) “No policy.” Texas is presently listed as “NO POLICY.”

There are 15 states, including California and Wyoming, that allow student athletes to participate based on their “gender identity.”

The website includes a link entitled “Start Here,” that lists “Trans*Terminology.” It explains, “Before we can begin to discuss trans*inclusion in athletics, we need to be on the same page. Let’s start with the basics of language and concepts so we’re clear on what we’re talking about.” “Transgender,” “Cisgender,” “Gender Fluidity,” “Gender Expression,” and other transgender terminology are defined.

There is also a Trans*Athlete resource page, which includes guidelines for creating policies for transgender children in recreational sports, promising practices for inclusion of gender identity/gender expression in higher education, and other documents.

The UIL has a “non-discrimination” policy that allows equal opportunity no matter disability, race, color, gender, religion, or national origin. There are some exceptions to that general policy.

The University of Texas at Austin created the UIL to assist public school athletic and debate teachers. It operates as part of the university. The UIL started in 1910 and has grown into the largest inter-school organization of its kind in the world, according to its website.

Feds Rule to Force High School Girls to Undress Next to Naked Boys Who Think They’re Girls
    by Ben Shapiro3 Nov 2015

On Wednesday, the federal government declared itself fit for the madhouse by mandating that a Chicago high school allow a full biological male into the girls’ locker room for all purposes, including nudity. This biological male, the feds determined, was different because he thinks he is a female.

The feds have ruled that the presence of a twig-and-berries in the girls’ locker room has been mandated by Title IX of the Civil Rights Act. Yes, ladies and gents and non-cisgenders: it turns out that the battle against sexism enshrined in the ill-written Title IX was actually intended to force underage young women to look at the penises and testicles of mentally ill boys.

    Progress.

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights spent almost two years checking out the Township High School District 211 because of the transgender “girl.” He filed a complaint with the feds in 2013 after the school refused “unrestricted access” to the girls’ locker room.

The district eventually agreed to allow the boy into the girls’ room so long as he used a privacy curtain while disrobing.

That wasn’t good enough. The feds determined that this still constituted discrimination. Why? As John Knight, director of the alphabet-soup LGBT and AIDS Project at the ACLU, stated, this was “blatant discrimination.” He explained (well, we think it’s a he, unless he identifies differently today):

It’s not voluntary; it’s mandatory for her. It’s one thing to say to all the girls, “You can choose if you want some extra privacy,” but it’s another thing to say, “You, and you alone, must use them.” That sends a pretty strong signal to her that she’s not accepted and the district does not see her as a girl.
Perhaps the district does not see “her” as a “girl” because “she” is not a she, a her, or a girl. Nonetheless, the Office for Civil Rights agreed, with Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights Catherine Lhamon averring:

All students deserve the opportunity to participate equally in school programs and activities – this is a basic civil right. Unfortunately, Township High School District 211 is not following the law because the district continues to deny a female student the right to use the girls’ locker room.
The student is not female. But never mind that: the subjective opinion of a mentally ill person now governs a student body of some 12,000.

So here, in a nutshell, is the government’s new policy with regard to sex and sexuality among youngsters:

•If you’re a boy who shows a picture of your penis to a girl in your class, you have likely violated both federal child pornography laws as well as local sexual harassment laws.
If this happens consistently in your school, the school has violated Title IX.

•If you’re a boy who says he’s a girl, the girl must be placed in position to see your penis and testicles.
If the school does not allow this, the school has violated Title IX.

•If you’re an adult who sexually touches a child with the consent of the child, you have committed a crime, since children are incapable of consent.

•If you’re an adult who gives a child hormone therapy or surgery to prevent normal development of the genitals, with the consent of the child, you are a hero.
If this all makes sense to you, you should be working for the federal Office for Civil Rights at the Department of Education.

This is what happens when a society loses its moral moorings. In its quest to destroy God, the left unhitched its wagon from eternal truths and, instead, decided to substitute its own idea of utopia. To reach that utopia – freedom from social expectations and standards – objectivity itself had to be destroyed, so as to avoid blame. Objective truth lost all meaning; only subjectivity mattered. Science became the enemy, since it establishes provable truths; it had to be quashed and quelled. Language became the enemy, since definitions exclude people and things not covered by those definitions; it had to be perverted and hijacked.

And so we now live through the looking glass, waiting for the next philosophically incoherent ruling from our masters of time and space. Or mistresses. Or whatever.

Former Johns Hopkins Chief of Psychiatry on ‘Caitlyn’ Jenner

Dr. Paul R. McHugh, is a brilliant former psychiatrist-in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has written more than 125 peer-reviewed medical journal articles and has published six scholarly books. When it comes to former Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner’s recent changes, he has things to say which will make liberals furious!

McHugh reaffirms the obvious – changing the sex of a human is not possible. And, instead of a liberating sexual movement, those who think they are transgender are actually suffering from a life-destroying mental disorder. Wow!

Take a look at what he has to say…

While the Obama administration, Hollywood and major media such as Time magazine promote transgenderism as “normal,” said Dr. McHugh, these “policy makers and the media are doing no favors either to the public or the transgendered by treating their confusions as a right in need of defending rather than as a mental disorder that deserves understanding, treatment and prevention.”

“This intensely felt sense of being transgendered constitutes a mental disorder in two respects. The first is that the idea of sex misalignment is simply mistaken – it does not correspond with physical reality,” McHugh wrote. “The second is that it can lead to grim psychological outcomes.”

The transgendered person’s disorder, said Dr. McHugh, is in the person’s “assumption” that they are different than the physical reality of their body, their maleness or femaleness, as assigned by nature. It is a disorder similar to a “dangerously thin” person suffering anorexia who looks in the mirror and thinks they are “overweight,” said McHugh.

This assumption, that one’s gender is only in the mind regardless of anatomical reality, has led some transgendered people to push for social acceptance and affirmation of their own subjective “personal truth,” said Dr. McHugh. As a result, some states – California, New Jersey, and Massachusetts – have passed laws barring psychiatrists, “even with parental permission, from striving to restore natural gender feelings to a transgender minor,” he said.

The pro-transgender advocates do not want to know, said McHugh, that studies show between 70% and 80% of children who express transgender feelings “spontaneously lose those feelings” over time. Also, for those who had sexual reassignment surgery, most said they were “satisfied” with the operation “but their subsequent psycho-social adjustments were no better than those who didn’t have the surgery.”

“And so at Hopkins we stopped doing sex-reassignment surgery, since producing a ‘satisfied’ but still troubled patient seemed an inadequate reason for surgically amputating normal organs,” said Dr. McHugh.

The former Johns Hopkins chief of psychiatry also warned against enabling or encouraging certain subgroups of the transgendered, such as young people “susceptible to suggestion from ‘everything is normal’ sex education,” and the schools’ “diversity counselors” who, like “cult leaders,” may “encourage these young people to distance themselves from their families and offer advice on rebutting arguments against having transgender surgery.”

Dr. McHugh also reported that there are “misguided doctors” who, working with very young children who seem to imitate the opposite sex, will administer “puberty-delaying hormones to render later sex-change surgeries less onerous – even though the drugs stunt the children’s growth and risk causing sterility.”

Such action comes “close to child abuse,” said Dr. McHugh, given that close to 80% of those kids will “abandon their confusion and grow naturally into adult life if untreated ….”

This sort of shocking life change should not be celebrated. We should have great sympathy for people struggling with this illness, as it is quite bizarre to willingly go through such massive surface-level changes.

HOUSTON, Texas – Voters of Houston came out in massive numbers and soundly rejected Mayor Anise Parker’s ordinance proposal that would have allowed men to enter women’s bathrooms, showers and changing areas based on gender identification. The HERO (Houston Equal Rights Ordinance) proposition was rejected by a vote of 61 to 39 percent with 95 percent of the ballots counted.

The proposition would see nearly a quarter million voters take to the polls to send a clear message to the city’s leaders. “Houstonians sent a clear message and voted for common sense by rejecting this dangerous ordinance,” said Briscoe Cain who worked with Campaign for Houston, the group which opposed the measure.

Harris County GOP Chairman Paul Simpson told Breitbart Texas in an interview Tuesday night, “Thanks to the efforts of our precinct chairs, Republican volunteers and activists, and dedicated staff, HCRP made over 100,000 volunteer phone calls and knocked on 30,000 doors to turn out conservative voters to defeat HERO.”

“This is a national game changer,” said Jonathan Saenz, president of Texas Values Action, in a statement obtained by Breitbart Texas. “Today’s vote is a massive victory for common sense, safety, and religious freedom, not just in Houston, but for all of Texas. The eyes of the nation were on Houston, and the people sent a clear message and soundly rejected this intentionally deceptive and dangerous ordinance.”

“Millions of dollars pouring in from national LGBT extremists, an out-of-control Mayor, and a sustained media onslaught could not overcome the tireless efforts of Houston pastors and people of faith standing for common sense, safety, and liberty,” Saenz continued. “I was born and raised in Houston, and I had faith Houstonians would do the right thing, and they did. This vote will impact the nation and shows, once again, that the people still support common sense Texas values.”

The Houston mayoral election was also impacted by this ordinance. Texas State Representative Sylvester Turner, who supports the ordinance, will now face off against Houston businessman Bill King who soundly opposes the ordinance proposition. Turner was expected to be the odds on favorite but ended up with only an 11 point lead. The coming runoff election for mayor of Houston in December will give voters another opportunity to reject this ordinance and the values it represents.

For the first time in recent years, the Harris County GOP has taken a proactive role in the city election. Chairman Paul Simpson talked repeatedly throughout the night about how this ordinance and the conservative candidates running for mayor and city controller brought out not only voters, but massive numbers of volunteers who generated even more voter turnout.

Man Returns 9/11 Hero Wife’s Woman Of The Year Award Because Of Caitlyn Jenner

“I find it insulting to Moira Smith’s memory, and the memory of other heroic women who have earned this award,” he wrote.

    Originally posted on Nov. 16, 2015, at 10:11 a.m.

A man whose NYPD officer wife was killed on 9/11 has returned her posthumous “Woman Of The Year” Award from Glamour magazine after the publication gave the same award to Caitlyn Jenner.

James Smith, also an NYPD officer, wrote an open letter to the magazine in a now-deleted Facebook post. His wife, Moira Smith, died while rescuing people from the Twin Towers on Sept. 11. The 38-year-old was the only female NYPD officer killed.

In the letter, Smith wrote that he was “shocked and saddened” that Glamour gave the same award to Jenner, a former Olympian who publicly transitioned.

In a statement, Glamour told BuzzFeed News they stand by their decision to give Jenner the award.

Glamour was proud to honor Police Officer Moira Smith in 2001 and we stand by our decision to honor Caitlyn Jenner among our class of winners in 2015. Caitlyn Jenner has helped shine a light on the problems faced by transgender youth and given voice to a community that is often unheard. Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards recognizes brave, bold women who in their individual ways have all made a significant difference in the world.”

    Update

James Smith explained to BuzzFeed News the motive behind his letter, saying that he thinks Jenner “trivialized the transgender experience” as he had witnessed it while helping transgender youth in New York City.

As a police officer in NYC, my precinct covered a shelter for transgendered youth. On several occasions I responded there to take reports or give aid to suicidal youths. I listened to their stories of physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Young people thrown out of their houses or fleeing from unlivable conditions. They didn’t have the luxury of being part of the Kardashian circus. They weren’t living in a Malibu Barbie beach house surrounded by what passes for family in Hollywood. They were truly brave people fighting hourly for existence. When Mr. Jenner said the hardest part about being a woman was figuring out what to wear, he proved to me that he is not truly a woman, and had not earned the right to call himself one. He trivialized the transgender experience as I had witnessed it, and he insulted women in general. Glamour honored Laverne Cox last year, and it was a good choice which I applaud. Contrast her story to Jenner’s. I truly believe Jenner’s award was a publicity stunt and cheapens a once prestigious award.

A spokesperson for Caitlyn Jenner declined to comment.
