A California state senator who authored one of the nation’s toughest gun control laws asked for campaign donations in exchange for introducing an undercover FBI agent to an arms trafficker, according to court documents unsealed Wednesday.

The stunning allegations against State Sen. Leland Yee were outlined in an FBI affidavit in support of a criminal complaint. The affidavit accuses Yee of conspiracy to deal firearms without a license and to illegally import firearms. He was arrested Wednesday.

Yee is also accused of accepting tens of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions and cash payments to provide introductions, help a client get a contract and influence legislation. He or members of his campaign staff accepted at least $42,800 in cash or campaign contributions from undercover FBI agents in exchange for carrying out the agents’ specific requests, the court documents allege.

Yee discussed helping the agent get weapons worth $500,000 to $2.5 million, including shoulder fired automatic weapons and missiles, and took him through the entire process of acquiring them from a Muslim separatist group in the Philippines to bringing them to the United States, according to the affidavit by FBI Special Agent Emmanuel V. Pascua.

He was unhappy with his life and told the agent he wanted to hide out in the Philippines, according to the affidavit.

“There’s a part of me that wants to be like you,” he told the undercover agent, according to the affidavit. “You know how I’m going to be like you? Just be a free agent there.”

The introduction with the trafficker took place at a San Francisco restaurant earlier this month, according to the documents. Yee said he wouldn’t go to the Philippines until November.

“Once things start to move, it’s going to attract attention. We just got to be extra-extra careful,” he said, according to court documents.

The affidavit names Yee and 25 others, including Raymond Chow, a onetime gang leader with ties to San Francisco’s Chinatown known as “Shrimp Boy,” and Keith Jackson, Yee’s campaign aide. Jackson is accused of multiple counts of fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud.

Chow and Yee were arrested Wednesday during a series of raids in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area.

According to court documents, Yee performed “official acts” in exchange for donations from undercover FBI agents, as he sought to dig himself out of a $70,000 debt incurred during a failed San Francisco mayoral bid.

Yee is also accused of accepting $10,000 in January 2013 from an undercover FBI agent in exchange for making a call to the California Department of Public Health in support of a contract was considering.

The agent who discussed arms with Yee presented himself as a member of Ghee Kung Tong, a fraternal organization in San Francisco’s Chinatown that Chow reportedly headed. It was among the sites searched Wednesday.

Firefighters were seen going inside with a circular saw and later said they had cracked a safe. FBI agents were seen coming out with boxes and trash bags full of evidence that they loaded into an SUV.

Chow is accused of money laundering, conspiracy to receive and transport stolen property and conspiracy to traffic contraband cigarettes.

Yee is the third Democratic senator to face charges this year. Sen. Rod Wright was convicted of perjury and voter fraud for lying about his legal residence in Los Angeles County, and Sen. Ron Calderon has been indicted on federal corruption charges. Wright and Calderon are taking a voluntary leave of absence, with pay, although Republicans have called for them to be suspended or expelled from the Legislature.

Yee has been at the center of many legislative controversies. He was the principal author SB 374, his recent attempt to outlaw popular semi-automatic rifles. He also was a co-author of bills granting drivers licenses to illegal aliens, and tying the hands of law enforcement from turning over illegal aliens to Federal authorities for deportation. Yee’s district contains several notorious “birthright tourism” centers which catered to pregnant Chinese nationals paying to have children here as U.S. citizens in order to obtain a lifetime of welfare benefits.

Obama’s Amnesty: In Texas, Border Patrol Releasing Illegal Aliens En Masse

Congress hasn’t responded to his demand to pass amnesty for illegals. So Barack Obama is conducting his own massive amnesty, by releasing illegal aliens into America.

And as word is getting out, they are coming across in huge numbers — to be purposely captured by Border Patrol, who are letting them go — under the guise of “relieving overcrowded detention centers.”

U.S. Border Patrol agents, in conjunction with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have claimed that the increasing practice of releasing so-called “low threat” illegal immigrant detainees to “address the over-crowding of immigration detention centers in south Texas”, according to official confirmation of local reports. But this is nothing new. The Obama DHS has been granting de-facto amnesty — immunity from deportation — to millions of illegal aliens, ever since the infamous Morton Memos back in 2010.

Word travels fast among illegals. It just got easier to cross over, and stay here, thanks to this lawless administration bent on amnesty.

One south Texas television station, KRGV, recently reported instances of “dozens” of women and minors recently released from immigration custody with “documents that allow [them] to travel anywhere in the United States.” They were told to show up to an immigration hearing months from now — but they almost never do. This is amnesty, plain and simple.

These actions are only pissing off the citizens even more. While some might have been on board to grant a version of amnesty to some, now people are demanding we deport them all! These are illegal foreign invaders - and as such should not be permitted to stay in our country - period! Those in DC, and especially the president who is perpetrating these illegal actions should be tried for treason - GIVING our country away to illegal invaders!

California Opening New DMV Office — For Illegal Aliens ONLY

Lompoc is slated to house a DMV processing center for undocumented immigrant driving privilege applications later this year. The state will start issuing those cards in January 2015. A building on North H Street, which has been vacant for a very long time, will house the facility according to Mayor John Linn.

The DMV location will serve as a regional center, taking applications from a broad geographic area, including San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. The specific building was chosen because if its substantial parking lot.

In October 2013, Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill into law, granting driver’s licenses to illegal aliens.

During a signing ceremony at the Los Angeles City Hall, Gov. Brown stated:

This is only the first step. When a million people without their documents drive legally with respect to the state of California, the rest of this country will have to stand up and take notice. No longer are undocumented people in the shadows,” reported the L.A. Times.

California officials expect to process 1.4 million driver’s license applications for illegals aliens over the next three years, at a cost of $140 million to $220 million to the taxpayers.

California is truly America’s Sanctuary State.

Video Shows Obama’s Claim that Border is ‘More Secure Than Ever’ is a Lie

We strengthened security at the borders so that we could finally stem the tide of illegal immigrants. We put more boots on the ground on the southern border than at any time in our history. And today, illegal crossings are down nearly 80 percent from their peak in 2000.”

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said bluntly: “The border is not secure.”

“I’m telling you that as somebody on the ground, as someone who experiences it every day. This is a lie that is being peddled by those who must convince the American people that it is secure and everything is just fine,” Babeu told Newsmax.

“We have the most active drug and smuggling corridor in the country,” he added, saying that the intersection of major interstates, as well as rural and side roads and vast terrain, make it the perfect area for illegal immigrants coming to this country.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio echoes that view: “Drugs are still coming, illegal aliens are still coming into the U.S.,” he told Newsmax.

“You can’t just say we must secure the border first and then we’ll look at illegal immigration. That border will never be secure.

Just this last week, FOX 10 in Phoenix reported on a illegal immigrant who was apprehended at the border of Mexico who had been deported 14 times. Yes, count that. Fourteen.

If someone can cross the border illegally that many times, can the border really be secure?

Obama Releases Tens of Thousands of Criminal Illegals Onto American Streets

We have been reporting for 2 years now on the steady deconstruction of immigration enforcement at the hands of the Obama Administration — as millions of illegal aliens have received “prosecutorial discretion” — immunity from deportation.

We have seen in recent days how ICE is now releasing women and children who turn themselves in at the Texas border — permitting them to go anywhere they want inside the nation. http://toprightnews.com/?p=2121

All of these policies are tyrannical, anti-democratic abuses of Executive power. But a new report shows that Obama has crossed a new line — into obstruction of justice that is putting Americans at grave risk of harm. And in nearly all cases, local law enforcement were not even notified of these releases.

Tens of thousands of illegals with criminal convictions were let go because of the Obama administration’s “prosecutorial discretion” policies. Since those policies were implemented in 2011, arrests by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have dropped by 40 percent.

ICE agents were forced to release 67,879 criminal illegals. CIS called it a “large scale abuse of authority.”

We call it criminal contempt and obstruction of justice. But who will challenge it?

“The Obama administration’s deliberate obstruction of immigration enforcement, in which tens of thousands of criminal aliens are released instead of removed, is threatening the well-being of American communities,” study author Jessica Vaughn said in a statement.

Even more disturbing is the criminal nature of these predators who were unleashed on our neighborhoods and communities. We’re not talking about jaywalkers or traffic violations. The report indicates these are individuals who have felony records.

The highest rates of criminal releases occurred in San Antonio, New York City, Washington, D.C. and Newark, N.J.

If you live in one of those cities, you should be prepared to take whatever measures necessary to protect your family and your home.

Sen. Jeff Sessions, the Republican from Alabama, is one of the few lawmakers willing to tell it like it is on this matter of grave importance.

“The Administration’s lawless policies have not only impaired public safety but increased economic suffering for millions of vulnerable Americans by depriving them of their jobs and wages,” Sessions said in a statement. “Unfortunately, Congressional Democrats continue to empower this lawlessness. Republicans must work to end it.”

The cold hard reality is that the United States is being invaded. And the Obama administration has been complicit in the invasion. Instead of repelling the invasion, the Obama administration is welcoming the invaders with open arms and providing them food stamps, driver’s licenses and health insurance.

It’s beyond frightening to imagine that our own government as unleashed this kind of evil on our streets.

And it’s not a question of if, but when Americans will suffer violent results of this criminal release. Because it has happened before.

According to a study by the Congressional Research Service, http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...42-sex-crimes/ nearly 47,000 illegal aliens flagged for deportation between 2009 and 2011 were instead released by the Obama Administration, and 16% of them went on to commit further crimes, including 19 murders, 3 attempted murders and 142 sex crimes, according to CRS and the House Judiciary Committee.

Americans will suffer crimes as a result of this disgraceful release of nearly 70,000 alien criminals. And their blood will be on the Obama’s hands. The question is: what will Republicans do about it?

McCain, according to BuzzFeed, also said that if comprehensive immigration reform passes, he would “make sure it is forever called the Edward M. Kennedy immigration bill.” McCain and the late Kennedy tried to pass the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill last decade, along with President George W. Bush. Conservatives halted the measure because it would have reduced the wages of American workers while not solving the illegal immigration problem.

The high-tech lobby, the Chamber of Commerce, and the same groups that wanted amnesty then are redoubling their efforts this year, which amnesty advocates like Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) have said may be the last chance for such legislation.

McCain’s former immigration aide, Becky Tallent, is now House Speaker John Boehner’s (R-OH) top aide on immigration. Boehner has said that he and President Barack Obama want to get immigration reform legislation “done” this year.

Other speakers throughout the week at Hispanic Chamber of Commerce events included Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), who said that amnesty legislation was inevitable, and Vice President Joe Biden, who stated that he believed illegal immigrants were “already American citizens.”

Last year, McCain vowed that amnesty advocates would try to get comprehensive immigration reform through Congress after the GOP primaries in 2014. That window seems to be somewhere in the next three months. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said that if amnesty legislation passes this year, it would pass by June.
