LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Campbell Soup Co said on Thursday it voluntarily recalled a limited quantity of its "Campbell's Chunky" Baked Potato with Cheddar & Bacon Bits due to a potential choking hazard.
The company said three consumers had reported minor injuries in and around the mouth.
Concerned consumers can call Campbell at 888-453-3868.Laissez les bon temps rouler!

do people not know how to chew their food anymore? not trying to be negative towards those three.. but.. c'mon, I know what I can and cannot fit in my mouth and if the pieces look too big, I cut them up w/ my spoon or whatever... I would like to know how big the pieces are lol yes, i'm obsessing over this

I just found out that the soup contained pieces of plastic. The story makes more sense now.

Campbell Recalls 72,300 Campbell's Chunky Soup Units

Campbell Soup Co. (CPB) voluntarily recalled 72,300 of its 18.8-ounce cans of Campbell's Chunky Baked Potato with Cheddar & Bacon Bits soup because they may contain pieces of hard plastic that present a choking hazard that could cause injury if swallowed.
Three consumers have reported minor mouth injuries so far, according to the Camden, N.J., food company.
The affected units were shipped to 24 states and have can code "Jul 08 2009 07097" on the bottom. Customers can return the product to the store where it was purchased for an exchange or refund or contact Campbell at 888-453-3868.
