Thread: Free BD Logic Kits - WARNING

Just a WARNING.

I got the free monitor the first time around, several months ago. It comes with a whole bunch of free strips.

The past few days, I took my blood sugar with them, and it was very high for me. It wasn't going down, and I was very panicky. I used my boyfriend's mother's monitor and strips, and it turns out my blood sugar is fine. I used her strips in my monitor, and it worked fine with those.

So, the strips were bad. They don't "expire", technically, for at least another year as far as the package is concerned, but these were bad. I think maybe they either have these kits in some hot warehouse somewhere, or else in shipping they get really hot.

Either way, be careful, and be wary of any strange readings with the free strips.
