Three years for two lives thats terrible. Thats why theres so much drunk driving they don't get much punishment at all.

My mom just got a call from the DA's office. The facility that this kid is in, is one of 3 in the state that allows inmates TO GO HOME ON WEEKENDS!!!
So she called my mom and the other womans daughter, to get their ''opinions'' on whether or not he should be allowed to go home on weekends. Their opinions and the parole office's opinions will be sent to the judge, and he'll make a decision.
Un Frigging-believable!!!
Why not just give him 3 square meals a day, internet, cable TV, health care........
oh wait....never mind.

Just when we thought it couldn't be any worse.........
my mom spoke to the other woman's daughter (I'll call her Sue) on Friday, and we found out this WAS NOT his first time drinking and driving!!
He was arrested for drinking, driving, and on drugs..........when he was 16!!! (WTH was he even DOING driving at 16??)
We weren't told of this because the documents were sealed because of his age. Sue said she heard the judge tell him "You know this isn't your first time, right?" And then he continued to remind him of the previous arrest.
I just can't freaking believe it!! He gets off when he's 16......goes out and does the same damn thing when he's 17, this time KILLING 2 women....
and all he gets is 3 f'ing years in jail, and ''weekends off!!" Just what do you think he's going to do on his ''weekends off!"
PARTY TIME!!
I soooooooo want to go out there and kick that judge's a$$!!!

This sounds like an incident that happened in this area about a year ago. Underaged kids driving drunk trespassing on the property of a private, gated & locked community.
1 kid was killed because an unlicensed drunk kid drove too fast on an unfamiliar road and smashed into a tree. No one was wearing seatbelts. One kid was thrown from the car & died.
The parents forgave the drunk driver, the guy who purchased the booze & did not want the DA to press charges. Not sure what did happen with that.
The parents did however sue the property owners because they should have "ASSUMED" their property would attract underage kids to the area to drink. The father used to go to the site where his son died everyday until he decided to sue. The property owners got a restraining order banning him from entering the property. He is now contersuing for the right to trespass onto their land.
Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your kids.

There is a guy here who drove drunk and injured a child. He is now in a "vegetative state" according to the doctors but he breathes on his own so the parents don't believe that. The guy has six other arrests for drunk driving but because they were in other states the judge won't allow them to be admitted. Of course they are fighting it tooth and nail but I don't know what will happen.

This story just keeps getting more horrifying. Second offense and 2 dead woman should equal prison, no matter what his age. If he gets out on weekends I can assume by his past behavior it happens again. When it does, let's hope it is the judges daughter or wife he hits. Remember judges are elected. Work to have him lose.
