I just can't take it anymore!!
Between the major problems my mom is going through right now, dealing with ds and his problems at school with ADD (FINALLY got him on an IEP), problems with my van and lack of money to fix it, older ds unable to find a decent, reliable, affordable car, finding and affording a place for him to live closer to campus this winter, money for bills and groceries, I just feel like the world is sitting on top of me and refuses to get off. It seems like my mind never gets a rest and I'm always worried about something. I know God doesn't give you more than you can handle, but how much does one person have to take?!

Sometimes I think God believes we can take more than we can. But I guess he knows us better than we know ourselves because somehow we seem to muddle through all the really hard times we have. I hope things get easier for you. I wish everyone could have a break from stress that would be wonderful.

Sorry dear. Sending you hugs and prayers. Keep up the good work with your son and getting him an IEP is a great step to take. Things will work out I'm sure. It's a good time to be looking for places near campus since break has started at most schools. Smile and laugh it will make you feel better even if just for a second.

Sending you hugs and prayers. Just remember the saying should actually be: God doesn't give you more than you and HE can handle together. It will all get resolved maybe just not how you envision it. But look at the huge jump you got by finally getting the school to implement the IEP for your DS. The other DS will have to do some work to find solutions for himself - I am sure you have raised him so that he will be able to get through this stuff.

Sending prayers and hoping things get better soon! I know that we all have our times of struggle and I think that the only thing we can do is pray and just try to take it one thing at a time - 'Just keep swimming, just keep swimming' - somehow, we always make it through, nothing last forever!

i understand completely..... I lost one of my part time jobs due to "budget" which translates to his wife is going to do it.... the 2nd part time isn't giving me any hours. i left my full time, because of the god forsaken boss....but the job i took that was supposed to have been full time, ISN'T..... so now i'm trying to pay all my bills that i was paying with 3 jobs with one part time....I've moved in with Mr. Man, so that helps. his house is paid for and he's paying the bills, but i'm barely making car payment/insurance right now.. i hate this.... hopefully with taxes and the retirement i'm withdrawing i can pay everything off and it'll all be good again.... you're definitely in my prayers.. and please forgive me for jacking your thread

Contact the administration office at the school. They have listings of affordable student housing. These places aren't the greatest but just make sure you check to see the place has a fire alarm. It is a requirement that smoke dectors are in these apartments but the student tend to remove the batteries.
Just wanted to add things will get better. Hang in there.
