Mods, if this is an inappropriate place for this, I apologize- I wasn't sure where to put it...

I have been a fan of 1SaleADay since I first discovered it around Christmas last year, and although some of the shipping around the holidays seemed a bit slow, I've otherwise been very pleased with the prices and deals.I'd been happy with the $5 and $10 items I'd bought so, I'd decided to take the plunge in buying something bigger.
A few weeks ago, they offered a gorgeous tanzanite ring for $89.99, and I had an anniversary coming up so I thought what an ideal gift. I happily ordered the ring, of course paying right away with my debit card. About a week later, I got an email stating that my ring had been shipped, with a tracking number through UPS Mail Innovations. This was a reasonable time before shipping, so I wasn't worried. Yet.
The tracking number indicated no tracking info available, but that it may take up to 24 hours to show up. So I checked the next day- still nothing. A few days later, still nothing. The UPS Mail Innovations site advised that if nothing appears after 3 days, to contact the shipper, so I did. The customer service person at 1SaleADay responded the next day with a form email stating that the tracking numbers at UPS were simply not updating at they should, (And it was UPS's fault) but that my ring HAD been shipped. They said allow 2-3 more days to receive the ring and if not, contact them again.
Which I did, and when it did not arrive, and the tracking number still shows no package being shipped, it took two days for the 1SaleADay folks to write back. This time, first replying with the same form email, word for word, as before. That it had been shipped, and the problem was with UPS not updating the tracking info.
I contacted them again, quite upset by this point, and explained once again that the tracking was NOT valid, someone writes me again the next day to say there had been a delay in shipping, and that they expected to ship within the week.
The anniversary for which I'd bought the gift has now passed, and 1SaleADay will now not answer my emails asking if it has yet shipped, or when it will be, and if there is a VALID tracking number for the package.
I just don't know what to do. They've done everything they could to direct blame elsewhere and give me the run around. It's been shipped, but the tracking is wrong, it's been shipped and the tracking is right, but UPS is wrong. to now actually admitting they never shipped it at all, but no indication of if/when they will give me what I paid for. $90 is not a fortune but it's certainly more than I can afford to throw away.










Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this with 1Sale A Day?

I also had a bad experience with them and although they have good deals sometimes I will no longer order from them.

Absolutely call your credit card company! If by some miracle the package shows up, then you can return to sender or mail them a check... but call your cc company quick!

it is quite slow!
it is either UPS or FedEx shipping at it's slowest, delivering to your local post office being sorted there and then being delivered to you.
take your tracking number to the PO and inquire with them. Bring whatever info you have about the pkg

If it went out UPS not USPS the tracking number should work unless it was not shipped. I use UPS all the time and they are great and their tracking is awesome. I have a feeling you are trying to put a USPS tracking number into UPS and it won't work try the USPS website. Although if it is a USPS tracking number those hardly ever show tracking until AFTER the package is delivered.

They get your cash and give nothing I hope you get your ring or get your money back

when shipped this way, it is a usps number, so it won't display usually until it is delivered at the PO.
I would give it more time, if it's only been a week. Just because you got the 'shipped' email, doesn't mean it is on a truck already. depending on ups pick up times, it might actually be picked up from the sender the next day.

However it was shipped... I'm sure it was more than a week... I don't think anyone, unless paying for super speedy shipping expects things that fast.
