That's what I thought. He's even upset that I called my brother to come get us. They really don't get along but WHO CARES???? Car was stolen and we were at the movies w/no way home. He's not going to see any of my cooking for awhile. I'll let everyone know how it turns out. I'm not cooking in the heat w/stove, oven or otherwise....I never do come spring or summer. HE KNOWS THAT, TOO. I cook a lot in the crockpot or eat what's in the fridge that I've frozen over the winter and can heat in microwave. I'm not a happy camper and I REALLY DON'T CAMP.

Glad you are okay but SMH at your hubby. You are disabled & he wouldn't call a cab. He needs to spend a day in your 'shoes' so-to-speak. I would have called a cab & left him standing by the side of the road.
What I don't get is the police not believeing you! They need to do their job & find the jerk!
I always say that men should have to experience 1 day of a period, 1 hour of hard labor & 1 hot flash.

Exactly! Your husband needs to get over it and stop thinking about himself. Your husband could have walked the remaining way - you see he got into the vehicle......After reading your posts for the past few years, I'm surprised you still put up with him. I know there is no way in hell I could. He would have been gone a long time ago.

For all who's concerned....I still haven't cooked anything (w/ac fixed) and I'm not going to. After Saturday w/the police, a/c going out, Aggie refusing to do anything about the car I've taken care of things myself. Hopefully I'll be getting a rental today for about 3 weeks til the ins. claim goes thru. In the meantime I'm looking for another car and probably another place to live. Thank you all for your concern. It's more than Aggie's shown me in the last 5 years of marriage.
