Thread: I hate mondays!

Come in this morning. My boss is out so that means I have to open up. No biggie except try to open up with a briefcase, purse & cup of coffee. Spilled hot McDonalds coffee on my leg. Happy I wore black pants today & not a sweater dress.
The phone was ringing when I got in & it hasn't stopped. The first call as I was openning up the door went to voicemail; don't understand who/what this guy wants but at least I got a phone number & saved voicemail.

Ds called. His kitten was supposed to go in tomorrow to be spayed. The vet called & her office is closed until further notice so if you want her spayed you have to call another vet. They recommended several. I called the first one becaue they are closeby to my home. They can fit her in next week but ds has to bring her in Wed so they can see her since she has never been there before. We also need her medical records. No one is answering at our vet's office.
Then I get a call from this lady who was told to contact our office because my boss's brother owns a printing company & she has been trying to pick-up her wedding invitations for a week. No one is there & the phones are disconnected. I called my one friend who is a relative of the family who said she spoke to the wife yesterday & she never said they were closed. I mean..sheesh...this isn't my problem & I am not giving out anyone's home phone number. I'm not calling him eiether. This is as far as I need to be involved.
Then I got a call from my Mom yelling at me for not calling her this morning. I did call her...twice..her phone was busy. My phone has not stopped ringing since 9 A.M.
....and it was supposed to be sunny & near 70 today...it is cloudy & cold.

Well, dang.....it only gets better from there then, yes? Tomorrow will be a much better day! ((Sunnie))

Not as bad a day as yesterday. It was pouring & now it is snow/sleeting. Wore jeans & boots today and brought in a bottle of Bolthouse carrot juice. Never realized that a bottle of carrot juice has as many calories as a can of coke. So why am I drinking this crap instead of coke???
I have been trying all morning to get this one account to balance. Me thinks me is missing an invoice....sigh
