I said this to my pharmacy staff, and they said "that is the reason why we have a job." I am not sure if this was suppose to be funny, but I thought about it and wondered how many illness or not required Rx's were required I take due to touching things with not so clean hands and touching my face, etc. and picking up "something" that I then took a OTC or Rx, or even aspirin. So, I bought a hand sanitizer for my purse on the way out!
At last....my love has come around..

what drives me insane, in oklahoma anyway... Is the seatbelt law... i have to wear my seatbelt in my car.. my kids have to be in car seats and in seat belts in the FRONT OR BACK seats, but i can throw them in the bed of my pick up and they don't have to have any saftey equipment, i mean, just how freaking stupid is that.

MsLynn, in Texas: you legally can not put your kids in the back of the truck. They have to be over 17, and you can not drive faster than 45 if you have any one in the back of the truck.
So hard, not to facepalm some people

MsLynn you can't drive with them in the back in Florida either. I do remember being a kid and riding in the back of my Dad's truck and we were going way over 45. But there were also no seat belt laws back then either.

I love my dog and yes he will occasionally go to the pet food store with me but the grocery store... NO WAY!
Suppose to be illegal........no pets in stores where there is food. Should be a sign on their door. Health code violation.
I would have said something to the manager.
I don't want dogs (or any pets) in any store that I'm shopping in. I have a dog..and she's just that.....A DOG. She doesn't need to go shopping with me.....or out to the restaurant.....or riding in the car......or held or carried in purse, suitcase, stroller or cart. She has 4 friggin legs and can walk on her own.
Last thing I want, is to choose a cart that someones dog pissed in.
Leave your friggin pets at home!!

It is Illegal in NC to have someone riding in a truckbed.

well when oklahoma wrote their seatbelt laws they didn't make a provision for the beds of pick ups, its something i used to complain about all the time when i worked at the police dept.

around here (s fla) the new thing is to have your dog declared a "service dog" all you really need to do is fill out a form and pay like $150 and then your dog is allowed every where, paws on the floor, any where. most of them get little strollers and parade them around or do the purse thing but others just walk them around. i love animals but...

The one thing that drives me crazy in this world is my 86 year old mother. I pay someone to plow her snow but can she wait until he gets there...NOPE. She isn't going anywhere & ended up falling on her arse. Thankfully nothing is broken.
Her kitchen faucet broke on Thursday. I bough a new one Friday. My oldest son was going to replace it however she gave away all of my Dad's tools to my brother & nephew. I told her this morning that I was having onbe of my subs stop at her house tomorrow morning to replace her faucet. I'll pay him. Instead of waiting(she has a dishwasher) she gave my son masking take, tweezers, & a paper clipper to use as tools. MacGyver he isn't. So she tried using a knife & cut herself.
Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your kids.

I would have loved to have seen the look on your DS's face when she gave him the tape, tweezers & paperclip. I can relate about the Mom's impatience. My Mom has 3 Florescent light fixtures in her kitchen. One of them had the lamps burn out Sunday morning. Do you know what I said to her at 7:00 on Sunday morning when she called me demanding that I go to my office (20 miles away) to get her 2 new lamps and install them. Needless to say she hung up and called my Brother - who was smart enough to not answer her call. He called me around 11:00 to find out what the "emergency at the Manor" was about. She will be getting new lamps installed TOMORROW after I purchase them through my office & my Brother will install them then. Oh and that is not good enough but we just ignore the 200 calls since then.
