What did the bank say?

I contacted hotels.com, they refunded the money and my back account confirmed it, they paid the overdraft fee. However since it hasnt posted I am still in the negative, so I am out $39, the SECOND day of being overdrafted. I will be contacting my bank again tomorrow
Work like you don't need money, love like you've never been hurt, And dance like no one's watching

When money is returned it can take a couple of days to show up in your acct. At least that has always been my experience with returns.

Not only should they pay the overdraft charge but they should give you a discount to keep your business.
Make them bend over backwards because of the sh*t they caused.
Talk to a supervisor if you have to.

I wonder if you could get satisfaction (other than them doing what they should have done anyway) if you complained through Planet Feedback.....

Planet Feedback doesn't do a thing for you anymore. Glad you got your money refunded but I would have had a supervisor on the phone & would have gotten either an upgrade for free night's stay.
Erie Insurance did sort of the same thing to my Mom. She has to make 9 monthly payments of $57 from March to November. I pay her bills so I knew it was paid. In January she received a letter that she had 10 days to make a $67 payment or her insurance would be dropped. She was freaking so I just wrote a check out but I called Erie to voice my "concern". I had her bank records proving the 9 payments. 2 weeks ago she received a letter apologizing & a $57 check because they mis-applied one of her payments. It should have been $67 because they tacked on a late fee when she wasn't late.

I'm glad they at least refunded your money and one late fee, but I would contact the bank or Hotels.com about the second overdraft fee.
Do they not worry about word of mouth and getting a negative feedback?
