I'm thinking you got ripped off... I got every tooth in my head surgically (not just pulled) removed and it cost me 60 bucks total.

Must have had dental insurance or it fell under major medical. It costs that to walk into the office.

Jolie I have had friends have that done and it was no where near that expensive. Full set of dentures (they are all custom made) only runs around $ 800.00. You would NOT believe the markup that those clinics charge. We use to rent a suite to a dental lab. It costs the dentists/dental clinics $ 75.00 for a crown and $ 250.00 for full dentures and all they do is take the mold, send it to the lab to be made and then charge you out the nose for them.

This covered the dentures - the surgery - the anesthesiologist - the "aftercare" and all adjustments with a second pair to be made when all the adjustments are finished. My teeth and jaw were in bad shape with infection

Just needing to wallow in some self pity today. I need to go to the doctor for a couple different things, but don't have the money to pay for it. We're barely making it month to month paying the bills/needs. We've even had to dip into DS's savings account a couple times for bills. We do have health insurance, but with a ridiculously high deductible just so we can afford the monthly premiums. Thought about canceling health insurance altogether, but want to have it in case something major happens. Pair this with school starting again for ADD/processing disorder son, his not bringing homework home, school not really wanting to help and taking care of my aging parents. It'll be okay, just needing a little time to feel sorry for myself before I pick up and carry on!
