I am thankful for everything I have and for things I do not have. I am content or at least working at it. I am also thankful for the aches and pains because they could be so much worse. I will take my life as it is. My wants and needs are few. I am so lucky.

On the right side of facebook there are ads. One is for a Simmons reclining, massage chair for $350. Click on it and it is really $699. What a rip. Has been like that for months. Just annoying.

It is only $350 when the moon is in the Seventh House and Jupiter aligns with Mars... you really have to keep up with the fine print on these "sales"

If you use Firefox or Chrome you can download an extension called AdBlock Plus and those ads (and the ones here) disappear like magic. Hippie was the one that actually told me about it years ago.

Why is it when the batteries in your smoke detector start to die.......it has to be at 2AM!!!
That's enough to give a person a heart attack!!
Don't they ever die during the middle of the day when your wide awake!! LOL

Or how about when the batteries die and you can't tell if it's the smoke detector or the carbon monoxide detector....how about that waking you up early in the AM? Freaked me out. I could tell there was no fire but not the other. I figured it out after a bit.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Still fighting the same demons and I feel like I'm back at square one with no progress. I don't know what else to do that repeat and try again. But the longer this continues the more scarier it gets. How can one child raised in the same household be so different? I just can't seem to get through and turn it around. Sometimes I can see a glimmer of hope/progress...then it's back to the same old, same old.
Mrs Pepperpot is a lady who always copes with the tricky situations that she finds herself in....
