I tried to call the person, hasn't been on since April. it bothers the shlt out of me too..trust me ! For the most part, it's fun with no problems. I've gotten to know alot of people on here because of it.

This one telemarketing company has been calling our business non-stop every 15 minutes for the past 2 weeks. Told them to stop calling we are not interested. We are registered on the DO NOT CALL List. This morning it is now every 5 minutes so I just filed a complaint against them.

You can file a zillion complaints and it will do no good since only residential phones are covered under the do not call registry. I get dozens of calls every day and my favorite is the one that says they are with "the copier company". They are the king of scammers they will ask what the model # is on your copier and then hang up. They will then ship hundreds of dollars of toners & such to your office and they will then sue you when you don't pay them. I just cuss them out as soon as they start the scam. Funny how they hang up on me when I call them scum sucking dirtbags.

I get those calls all of the time too! Why aren't business numbers covered under the DNCL?

Because the phone solicitors have better lobbyists than business owners who have to pay money for their employees to deal with these people.

I do not drive - haven't for almost 13 years.... DH has to work today, so I am sitting here with the kids whining "I'm bored" while all my fmaily and friends have gone to a BBQ at my MOM'S, fireworks and fun at my MIL's, a bunch of my friends from around the corner went to the park down the road to let the kids fish and play in the water, and then my other friends have all gone to the Fireworks on the River and everyone is POSTING on FB about what a great time they are having ... and why am I NOT there ??? Because I haven't driven in 13 years ... and someone has to come GET ME ... and I can't ASK for a RIDE if I don't know what anyone has planned.

I spent most of this weekend going through stuff from my kitchen & bathrooms. I have 7 boxes of items I no longer use. I have them boxed & ready to go to Goodwill fater work. I also think I had to of washed over 20 loads of dishes in my dishwasher. All I need is the tile done on my backsplash & we are done there. The powder room needs some molding but that is done.
The main bathroom OTOH needs to be drywalled & then tiled. The plumber showed up this morning which is what needed to be done first. Got in to work this morning & my sub-contractor had left me a voice message on my work extention telling me he isn't sure when he will be able to get back to my home to finish the drywall & tile.
Tomorrow my son's future FIL is going to my house to finish up. He is retired & bored. Works for me!

I'm sure you may have posted somewhere why you don't drive Jolie.... But why don't you drive? Especially if you have kids? What would happen if gosh forbid a emergency should ever happen and you need to get out and go? Guess I don't understand, I couldn't stand to be stranded.

I am legally blind and have very little depth perception... after taking out a few mailboxes and trashcans, I eventually ran into the house. Since houses are fairly large and slow-moving, cars on the road would have no chance and I hung up my keys. If it were a matter of life and death, I would get in the car, say some prayers and head for the ER... but failling that... the risk is not worth the potential mayhem. It is like someone who is drinkin' and drivin' .... but I recognise how impaired I am.
Since I stumble along quite well, and I have learned to mask my disablitly, most people do not realise how bad my vision really is... and so
