actually its quite fun! sometimes if i get too busy, or sick, etc. i just combine two months together. its nice to choose gifts for someone you KNOW they would like and appreciate and have it reciprocated. (usually, lol!) i've had some great pals over the years and one or two mishaps, but such is life. its fun anticipating what will come next! i've talked to sheila and she's worked it out for me. i was in a bad mood that night, i didnt meant to sound so harsh.

I'm glad she got it worked out for you... I always wanted to join, too... but I know how I am and I am a procrastinator and I'm scared I would screw it up and disappoint someone.

I will take your 91 any day of the week. This week we struggled to get to 70. It is SUMMER for crying out loud!

My vent is....I still do not have my kitchen or bathroom remodeled! I started this process 10 months ago! I have everything bought & paid for but I am like the wife of a plumber who has the leaky faucet. I got a start date of May 23rd which got pushed back to June 6th which got pushed back to June 15th. It is not June16th & still nothing!
I have the contents of a kitchen & 2 bathrooms in boxes in my family room & dining room. I feel like I am a hoarder complete with the 4 cats. Yup my cat that ran away a year ago came back 3 weeks ago. She is a changed cat...total love bug & according to her vet, although skinny she is completely healthy. Have to take her next week for a follow-up blood test. Thing is my cats have their own private hiding spaces which are now bening taken up by the items from my kitchen & baths! UGH! I never thought I would say this but I just want to cook! I am sick of take-out!

Congrats. on your cat coming back home. I know what you mean about cooking when Aggie and I were having the house built builders kept pushing the dates back and back and back again. We'd pack our dishes/pots/pans thinking we were moving and we didn't. I also got tired of eating out almost everynite. Cereal, Ramens, canned soups only go so far. Good luck w/your remodel. I hope it goes well for you.

Dealing with my sons sinuses/allergies. It is never ending. He is always on a medication. Now his is on 4, all prescription. Nasal spray, claritan, antibiotic, and singulair.
I'm going to invest in a good heppa air purifier. The poor kid probably dislikes me right now for having to give him so much medicine. Of course, he hates taking it.
A very while back I posted a thread about him not wanting to drink milk, at all. And how it bothered me because, well, it's healthy and necessary for his age. The doctor did a blood test and actually found out that he is allergic to milk, go figure....... So, she recommended taking 2 tums a day, that would cover his needs of calcium intake a day. So I feel better that he's getting his calcium through the tums.

He's also allergic to egg whites, barley, and get this...... dust dander. OK, I'm not the best housekeeper/home cleaner in the world, but I do keep it pretty darn clean. But really, dust dander.... ugh. I'm not suppose to vacuum around him. They say that children "usually" out grow milk allergies around age 5, so I am hoping. He was at a "2" being allergice, between a 0-4, 4 being the highest.

anyways, I wish and hope one day, soon, he will get over all this allergy, sinus crap.

Just a suggestion they have a good heppa filter available at Home Depot that you can cut to fit your A/C system and it is cleanable. It runs about $ 50.00 - the A/C contractor I work for recommends them to people that have lots of allergies. If you have animals you also should change/clean your A/C filter every two weeks instead of monthly. That could also help with his allergies. Hope they find something that helps him soon.

Is this one good for window air conditioner units? We don't have central air.? I thinking not, maybe though.
We don't have dogs or any inside animals, because of my DD and my son with allergies and stuff. All we have is 2 outside cats.
I use to hang my laundry outside to dry, but not anymore because I found out that all the pollen and stuff gets into the clothes, I should have figured that one out on my own.

No it is for central units. I just assume everyone has central A/C since I live in the land of endless summers.
