Weatherchannel.com said ''100 million people'' were going to be affected by the last storm.

Do you think I got one lousy flake out of it??

No school again tomorrow, 4th day in a row. My electric was out today for 2 hours, my toilet is just now coming back, yes, my toilet froze, I kept everthying else running so the pipes wouldn't freeze up, then low and behold, I wake up and can't flush. I just put a bucket in the tub and manually flushed it.
No work now for 4 days in a row, paycheck is going to absolutely suck. I still can't get out of my driveway.
I couldn't get into town yesterday, to pick up my check, but I guess it wouldn't matter since my work wasn't opened, so I couldn't deposit my check, I have car insurance taken out automatically today, guess I'll just have to suck it up and pay the bank back and it's fees when I can get out.

If I have to, I have neighbor down the road with a 4x4. I am going to try to get out tomorrow maybe, it's suppose to get up to 27, my DD's car is a front wheel drive. But Saturday is suppose to be up to 43. Then turning yuck cold again. Hopefully it will get a good enough melt on all the roads.

I'm sick of seeing the stupid pajama jeans commercials on TV AND like every other commercial is a law firm asking you to call them so they can help you sue a company for some drug you might have used and it either killed YOU or someone you know.

Also, cannot stand the fact that my in laws can travel all over the damned universe to visit family and friends but cannot travel 1 %$#@&* hour once a %$$^%^ year to visit their grandson on his birthday.

I swear, family can be your worst enemy!! Screw them all.

My gripe of the day -- People who generally have a chip on their shoulder who think everyone else does too -- sure you might be disagreeing with someone but that doesn't mean what you are saying (or typing) is being said in a not nice way, but because they would say it that way they automatically assume that's the way you are saying it, why not assume that most people are being nice to you, that most things aren't being said (typed) in a nasty argumentative way (unless of course it's blatantly rude as I know some people can be) or is that just not possible?

I was recently accused of "trying to pick something apart to fight/debate/getting the last word in or whatever you want to call it" when all I was trying to do was give reassurance to the person that no one felt that way about the situation, that everything was "OK" in the conversation -- it's a shame others had to jump on that bandwagon because it was an interesting discussion up until somewhere around that point.

Hubby and son shoveled out the driveway and sidewalks. It took them hours. Then hubby shoveled the 3 feet in front of the mailbox. Then someahole (the village) plows the street and puts the snow in front of the mailbox. I am now on plow alert. I will run out of the house screaming if you try that crap again.

Ppl who cause problems and then when it is pointed out to them (by multiple ppl.. I mean, come on, at some point you have to realize if EVERYONE has a problem w/ you, then clearly you're doing something wrong) they act like effin victims... come on, it's old... do it on another board already.

P.S. pls be careful agreeing w/ me, I might actually be talking about YOU.

When threads/posts start to get personal and ppl start attacking each other. If they don't want to discuss that particular topic (which can become civilly heated at times), they should move along instead of the nonsense that ensues......

I have 2 gripes today so far.....

The other being too much to do and not enough time.....
