I don't like it either. I think it's hard to get back to (let's say) the vent and whine forum when you are in a thread unless you hit the back button or "quick nav" but like someone said, that is not quick. Some things should just be left alone, this forum keeps changing in appearance and I don't think for the better. I appreciate other forums that find what works and leaves it alone. This has seriously got to be one of the hardest sites to navigate anymore.

I must be the only person that comes in and just hits "new posts". I never navigate through the forums any other way.

I don't care for it either, functionally nor aesthetically. It's ugly and harder to use. (and I can't always use the new posts button to do things)
