My first winter in Seattle and its hellacious. I knew it would be cold and rainy, but the sun doesn't come up 'til 8am and it goes down at 4pm. Definatley miss those weeks I spent in Tempe this year, when it was 100 degrees. In 100 degrees, I can still go outside and do things, when its 40 here, cold, rainy and windy, I don't want to go anywhere.

Sad part is my Boss is in Salt Lake City this week and it is warmer there than in Orlando. It is just wrong.
Oh Sandy, I need to bring you up here right now. We are actually having a "warm-up" today. I think it is above 20 here right now. Yesterday it was in the teens.

The heater never stops here when it gets so cold. I can imagine that heating a house up north in January versus cooling a house down south in July have to be comparable.

When it is this cold I just want to go home & get my fuzzy jammies & blanket. I tend to hibernate in the winter.
