Phones, Cell Phones, Answering Machines etc...

I am so tired of the mentality of people today...Immediate answers is not the way of the world. Get a grip people.

If I don't answer my phone; landline, cell or otherwise I am likely not home, busy or don't have the time or want to talk to YOU at that moment. Please leave a message, I WILL get back to YOU when I can or want too. You really don't have to call and call and call.

Geez oh man.

Unless of course it's me, calling my teenage daughter on a friday/saturday night, when I know darn well she is glued to her phone because texting is her life LOL, she better be answering that phone, or call me back withen the next 10 minutes, or I'll be calling her repeatedly.

But ya, I know what you mean, there are "certain" people that call, and I think, oh good lordy..... and keep hitting the reject button. If it's something they really need, or an emergency, they know how to leave a voice mail, and yes, I check them and will get back immediatly if it's an emergency.

Dh is good for this. I am always telling him to leave a message and they will call you back. Bugs the stuffing out of me when he does this lol I will call someone once, if they don't answer I usually don't leave a message, I figure they will see it on their cell and call me back. Now if it is a big emergency I will leave a message.

I agree here.
I leave a message.. with It is/ Is not important. When you can, call me back

But I get 13 calls in 10 minutes from my mom.... and 2 IMs because I did not answer. And when I call her back, because I got so many calls, thinking emergency.. I get What are you doing? I am not doing much today. Why did you not pick up?

Uh.. Pregnant and Bathroom!!!

It is the constant message leaving that gets me. If I don't text back or call you, I think you should figure I am busy.

Geez oh man.

This is sooooo true!!!! With my work schedule I get home at 2 am go to bed around 5 am. Its been this way forever.....and yet people still insist on calling me at 8 am. Ummmm....hello??? That would be like calling YOU at 4 am. It wouldn't be so bad if they left a message, but no....they gotta keep calling and calling....maybe I should start returning calls at 3 am?

I think the answering machine is one of the greatest inventions around. I just turn off my ringer and turn down the outgoing message on my machine and TA-DA! Peace and quiet! No more interruptions from telemarketers. Try it
