    Hurt Feelings in Walmart Today

Today in Walmart we saw a woman hurt another woman's feelings because she was overweight. She was so rude and it really humiliated the other woman. Some people really got upset for her and told the other lady off. I don't understand why some find it okay to say hurtful things to people. She was so hurt, I felt so sorry for her. People really don't know how much they can hurt someone with bad comments.

Why can't people keep it to themselves sometimes. Not all things are meant to say out loud.

I agree. When you see the hurt person's face you can tell how much it bothered them.

No they don't. But some people don't seem to care what they say to people.

as mama always taught me, "if you cant say something nice, then dont say anything at all"
i try to instill that into my girls, but sometimes a 5 year old just has to speak her mind, lol!

Honestly n2space,I think you are making up stories just to bother someone here.
I can't be the only one who notices that your posts just seem weird.

I'm really sorry if I've offended anyone here. I am not trying to bother anyone . I feel like I'm disliked for being here. I witnessed this today and wanted to post it because I feel sorry for obese people who are tormented. It has nothing at to do with anyone here. It is sad that people think I'm not a good person. I don't understand what's weird about my post. I have feelings for people that are hurt. I felt so sorry for that lady.

I think it's where I live, I don't know about anyone else here, but I see a lot of rudeness here. It seems people are not very nice to obese people. I know I posted it before, but I've seen it many, many times. I used to be overweight and know what it feels like to be hurt by it, so I guess that's why it bothered me so much.

Because people are selfish jerks & apparently no one taught them good manners.
I've been called a skinny b***h so many times it is unreal.
Last night my child called me, get this, "a ho". It took every ounce of strength for me to not go off on him. Instead I told him that he had best be going up to his room, close the door & play video games and not say another word to me the rest of the night. He later apologized & said he was just joking because he said I called him a b***h. No what I said to him was so stop whinning & b***hing about him being hot & tired. Hello...we do have swimming pool in our backyard.

Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your kids.

I guess the only thing more hurtful than strangers saying mean things is when family does it. Especially when they go out of their way to do it. I don't really see what they get out of trying to hurt the family member unless it is to try to make themselves feel better about themselves because they have such low self esteem and opinion of themselves that they have to try to belittle and hurt someone else. You know it makes them feel bigger I guess. I just feel sorry for the person who has to put up with them.
