Did she have permission to do it? If so well then I don't think it is that bad but if she didn't have permission then that is another story.

Someone must have said something to her. The message has been pulled. He just found out yesterday. I hope he had time to tell his grown kids before she posted it. She and my other brother live in the same town as him. One of his kids lives half a state away(about 4 hours) the other 2 I'm not sure.

Thanks for the well wishes and taking my side on things. I was so mad after I read it, it took me about 3 hours to wind down enough to go to sleep. I guess no more facebook before bedtime.

I have to tell a story.. LOL (sorry for hijacking OP!)

About a month after my son was married, I was checking my facebook and saw his wife had posted "I'm Pregnant!!" I was FLOORED (to say the least) because they are both young and they both really didn't want to have kids.

So I call my son and this is our conversation...

ME - why would Sally (not her real name) post something like that on facebook before you told your family?

SON - what are you talking about?

ME - Why would Sally post something so personal on facebook before you guys got a chance to tell your family??

SON - Tell our families what?

ME - That Sally is pregnant!

SON - *loooong pause* WHAT?!?!?! What did you just say???

ME - uuuummm maybe you should call your wife?

SON - MOM!!! MOM!!! Please tell me this is a joke!! I am in the middle of class and I am going to pass out!! MOM!!!!

ME - (feeling a bit awkward) Son, call your wife please!

SON - MOM! I am going to pass out right now! *looong pause* I think I am going to throw up. I will call you back.

I wanted to be sick too! I was thinking that Sally had told everyone that she was pregnant before she told my son!

Turns out that she was not pregnant, but one of her friends hacked her account and thought it was funny. Apparently it was only funny to that person at the time... its funny to all of us now lol

You should NEVER put anything "out there" that you wouldnt want someone to know about you. Even if you go back in an hour and delete it, someone may have done a screenshot and there it is forever. My rule of thumb is that if I would be uncomfortable if my daddy read it, it doesnt get posted. FOR ANY REASON.

A girl at work almost got fired because she got in some trouble at work and she posted about it and how unfair they were being by making her take an occurrence(HA! Id have fired her).....it was this huge blog that named names, locations, who she worked for and at which location she worked. The IT dept normally doesnt check online(although they CAN) but she posted it from work. On company time. On a company computer. Which is set up to kick certain keywords to the IT admins email for perusal. It was UGLY.

Yeah, believe me I understand. The misinformation in the media about the industry in which I work drives me in-freaking-sane and I cant say ANYTHING because I can get in trouble.
