Angry Hubby's Brother in Law got killed last night...

(Mods, please put this where it needs to go... can't think straight right now...)

I was just telling John that I wanted to go to the Beach, however this is not what I meant. I was thinking about Sullivan's Island, SC or Myrtle. But unfortunately I'm leaving in the morning to go to VA Beach... to a funeral. This will also be the first time I will meet John's 3 Nieces (Morgan - who is a clone to Sarah Jessica Parker, Marlena and Monica), his 2 sisters and his Mom and Step-Dad. Hell of a way to meet them... :-(

This article, and the media in general, pisses me off! Andy, though I didn't know him, was a VERY RESPONSIBLE driver, and Mr. Smith was so intoxicated that they had to take him to the hospital because of that! Look at the freaking PICTURE! ANDY didn't hit him... HE hit Andy! High Rate of Speed? MAYBE but wtf is a 62 yr. old doing in an Industrial Park drunker than cootie brown at 7 PM?! Oh and as far as I know, per my SIL, Andy died due to extensive internal injuries at the scene. Hope Mr. Smith goes to jail for MURDER.

Also wanted to add that, Kimmy (his wife) and my MIL had to go to the scene, but I don't think they had to identify the body. However, my SIL Tammy emailed and told us that luckily there were no facial injuries. It's a damn shame that their was even a "scene" to go to. *sigh*

I'm sorry for your families loss... it's very sad.

Btw... I googled it... this was the only article I could find that said he hit the car. All the rest said the car hit him.

    Unhappy

Thanks for your support. Both good and bad has come out of this so far. John has talked to his Mom today more than he has in the entire time we've been together, he's also trying very hard to get in touch with Kimmy (Andy's wife) but of course everyone is blowing up the phone and anytime anyone says Andy she has a major breakdown. So in a sense it's bringing the family closer. Also my Dad is not the most reliable person but I texted him and told him to call me, bad news. Surprisingly he did call... and we actually TALKED for like 10 minutes. We don't talk very much at all due to our past. I was so proud of him.
It was kinda funny too because Dad has been a shade tree mechanic since forever and I was like "My Jimmy is doing x,y,z" what does that mean? And he goes "Oh, it's your O2 Sensor" like right off the top of his head. So then as a test I said "John's van is doing x,y,z" and he said "Okay he's broken a bearing in his water pump, his O2 is gone, and he needs a new thermostat." Well we had 2 mechanics look at here and that's EXACTLY what they said. I was like "WOW! Not bad considering you're 10 hours away!"

On the bad side, I'm truly concerned about John's neice Monica. She keeps posting on FB that she doesn't know how she's going to deal with this. And I've talked with the oldest girl Morgan, and she told me that EVERYONE is taking this horribly bad...that she's never seen anyone this upset before. The middle girl, Marlena, is pretty rebellious from what I've been told and had just recently gone through a "I hate Andy" phase, and chose to move out with her Dad.... now we find out she is feeling guilty and thinks it's her fault that he died as punishment to her because she didn't tell him she loved him.
It's a effin' mess and right now John's pretty much in denial about it all. *sigh*
