If this is just the flu, I'd hate to feel H1N1!!!

I feel like I am dying!!! My son and I are on day 2 with the flu and it is hell! Had to take him to the doctor cause after 2 days missed they need a drs note. He is out till Friday at the earliest. Ok just wanted to complain lol.

there have been a couple of people around here that have died from the h1n1. My mom volunteers at the local Health Dept, and she said that they could not keep the vaccinations.

Hope you all are feeling better soon.
Just got over a virus and I know what you mean. There was a day or two that I just wanted to die I felt so bad.
You both should be feeling better within a week. Sounds like forever doesn't it?
Rest up and take it easy for the next couple of weeks until you get your strength back.

I spent a week with it and I didn't feel like doing anything. A few people thought I must have died because I felt too bad to on the computer.

I had H1N1, and Hubby did too. They say it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get over, and I believe it. I had so much congestion and couldnt' stop coughing. The first 3 days, I couldn't get out of bed... and I was so achey and had a high fever with chills. One long headache. It was great...

This started with me the first week of November. I still have slight cough now and then from it. They say it's the congestion that kills people because it turns in pnumonia or bronchitis, and I believe it. It hurt so bad the first few days that all I could do is lay in bed and cry.

Thought I was better today when I woke up till I started to move around lol. Still just chillaxin on the couch and not eating much of anything. At least the throwing up is done with. My chest is killin me but they cant do anything about it according to the doc. Obviously my son is feelin better cause he is getting on my last nerve. i will be glad when Friday gets here and he can go back to school!!

Hope u get better soon hun...believe me, it takes forever! I had the swine flu a few wks back & was down & out for 9 days. I didnt want to do anything. I still have that cough & congestion hanging on. It seems like its never ending. As far as ur son goes, I know what u mean. My DD had the regular flu & she was fine the next day...

Like my hubby says, we'd rather see them being like that than being so sick. I know what you mean though. I'm glad he's feeling better and hope you will be soon too.
