so get this crap!

today the schedule for next week was posted.

when i was hired i told them on sat i can only work 9am-1pm and they said okay fine. well the schedule for next sat has me working 5pm-10pm....UMMM WTF?? So I told the b about it and she got pissy....it's not my fault you're an idiot and don't pay attention to availability!! this is the 2nd time they've scheduled me outside of my availability- last time they scheduled me to be there at 6am on a monday so i had to call chloe out from school that day as i had no one to take her! MORONS I SWEAR!!!

I swear, when I first started reading this thread, I thought for sure that you worked for Walmart! Your manager sounded just like most Walmart managers! I used to work at Walmart, and when my youngest was about 10 he had this horrific pain in his lower right side and we took him to the ER. They thought he had a hot appendix and started running tests. I called my manager to let her know I wasn't coming in and explained the situation. She just couldn't understand why I couldn't leave the hospital and come in to work!

This same person tried to MAKE me work overtime. Luckily my application spelled out the hours I could work and I had been hired on that basis so she was SOL! I was never so glad to leave a job as I was to leave that one.

At least you'll soon be union and your union steward can intervene when she starts acting like wench!

Anyways Ms. B!tch called me to the office yesterday to tell me that since i can only work late on sun and mondays that if i need those days off i HAVE to give her another night to put me late.......so I'm going to find someone with a copy of our union contract which does NOT have that stipulation in it and tell her to shove it up her arse.

then today right- there was a 12 pack of pepsi that leaked at my register where i stand...it was all under the floor mat thing. i walked up to the b!tch asked her politely if i could have a mop and explained the situation- she told me to clean it up with paper towels! I mean it was EVERYWHERE and got in even more places when i moved the mat! So me being the smart arse that I am took 20 min to clean it up with the paper towels, something i could have done in like 2 minutes with a damn mop.
