    Unhappy My turn to whine..

Well my son got back to the US from being deployed in early October. He is getting out of the Army, so instead of coming home right away, he has been getting as much stuff done as he could and was supposed to leave next weekend. Well, at 3 this morning, we got a call. He hit a deer and is pretty sure it totalled his car. I have seen him a total of 6 hours in the last 16 months. I am so glad he wasn't hurt, and they never found the deer, but all I can say is POOP!

Oh how awful. I'm glad your son is OK, at least now he will be home with you, he may be w/o a car for awhile and that is a big bummer, but now there is more time you guys get to spend together b/c he can't go anywhere. Seriously, welcome home to your son and I hope things look up for him. *big hugs*

He kinda needed the car to get home. He's in upstate New York, and is supposed to move here to Georgia next weekend. He paid the car off early while he was deployed but thank goodness he kept the full coverage. I just hope the insurance company doesn't drag this out too long. I figure we just have to wait and see, and count our blessings. At least he wasn't on his motorcycle!

So glad he is ok. Thank you to him for all he does for our country and for you for doing without your little boy for so long. I can not imagine what military parents go through.

I hope that the insurance is all worked out and he has wheels to get to you soon.
We had us, we had him, now we have everything.

Sorry to read of your son's accident...He must be in Watertown...Deer are rather rampant this time of year with all the hunters out chasing after them.

I hope the isurance company is able to speed things along for him...what a rental or loaner car for him???if it is going to be a long delay in getting repaired...Can't hurt to ask about one..

Hope your son is home soon...I also thank him for all he has done for our country.
