Call the police immediately. If this kid has been suspended before for the same thing, he doesnt care and neither do his parents. Once you make a police report, make sure that you follow up with a call to the prosecutors office, juvenile division.....just because he is a juvenile doesnt mean he gets a free pass to beat on people. Oh yeah....take your son to the doctor, med stop, hopsital, etc.....then charge the kids parents for the entire bill! I bet they think twice to allow their kid to beat on anyone else...... Kids like this make me sick....and so do the parents who raise them and do nothing about it!!

Yeah, I agree with police intervention here. It is nuts that they did that with a parent near by.

This is my other "two cents" on calling the police when one is injured at the hand of another...

Someone I know was out with her husband and another couple. They were drinking and were at the other couple's home after bar. The other couple got into a big argument, and the husband threw something at his wife, and ended up hitting the woman I know. She was "fine" but bruised and her head hurt. In the coming weeks, she had major neurological problems and wished she had called the police. I don't know how it ended, as I knew her from doing some work for her, but I do know that she was eventually unable to work. Don't know if she was ever able to go back on the guy or not.
We had us, we had him, now we have everything.

how is your son doing? sure hope he is doing much better-he is in my prayers
and i sure hope that you are gonna set the school and the parents straight on this one,a big fat bill for them ,might open their eyes to their sons behavior.and yes the school is responsible too,it happened on their property, and before your son made it to you.
if nothing, comes from this, take the child who did this and his parents to small claims court, and make them pay the medical bills and for pain and suffering for your son-hope everything gets settled soon-keeping your son in my prayers

He is better no pain. I think it just knocked the wind out of him. The boy got a 3 day suspension. I guess school doesnt tollerate violence.

Apparently they do if he is "always being suspended for just such a thing"... perhaps it's time they expell him.
