i sure dont envy you ladies- i myself raised two sons-and let me tell you, when they fought, they fought, man they had to prove who was the tuffest one,or who was more stubburn to not give in ,no matter what-so when they did this or the yelling at each other i took their stereo's and there tv's,that didnt work,so i made them sit on their beds indian style, till they could get along. let me say to all of you,no matter how much my sons fought, they are very close to this day.........so dont worry mom,its all a part of growing up.i do wish you luck with your own sanity though.kids sometimes sure can push us to the limits.

STILL looking for "Child Recycling." I have a nice used 17 year old boy that's available. I used to tell all 3 of my boys that if I couldn't find Child Recycling, I was trading them all in for Chia Children.

A few years back we were in Universal Theme Park and the "Child Swap" was a new thing then. I said to my DH, "Hey, they have child swap here." My dd asked what that was, I told her we have the opportunity to trade in our naughty kid for another one. She believed me....

    Too bad it wasn't true....

So as of this moment......the Disney channel is blocked, yes, Disney....the same channel of Hannah Montana and her snippy wise cracking friends........

And...as a result of stubbornness, attitude and a door slam....the door to her room is off it's hinges as she caused her mother to become..."unhinged"...as well......

So here we are at a standoff....yes, she's stubborn....but who do you think gave her that gene?

BTW Did I mention that I don't like teenagers? especially my own...

I was debating to put this under the vent and whine/wine or prayers requested/needed heading.
And you think 20's is any easier??? 21 means drinking, it means having a car, need I say more??? *:LOL*

I swore my son would not live to see 16 because I would kill him, then we got to 18 and I knew that I should have chained him down the basement when he was 16 and waited until he was 35 before I left him loose. BUT then, all of a sudden he grew up, I think it takes until age 21 for their brains to fully develop and now he is a father with a 15 year old and my grandson is the nicest, kindest 15 year old that I could ever dream for. My son turned into a very nice man, and has a wonderful wife, what more could I ask for???

Ladies it just takes time, patience and maybe a drink or 2, but they do grow up and usually into someone you really like.
