Punks
Me and my dh were talking to our next door neighbor (we will call him P) and he asked us if we heard the commotion the other night. Of course we didn't
P lives in the house on the right of us. He had pneumonia and at around 1:30/2 am he was sitting on his porch which is really dark b/c he could not sleep and he saw 3 kids in black hooded sweatshirts coming out of the neighbor on the left of us' back yard and they walked over to my car, testing the doors to see if they were unlocked.
Since they weren't they went over and tested P's car to see if it was unlocked.. P's brother is a dispatcher for the Providence police dept and he called and asked his brother to send a car out to check this out.
In the meantime the punks tried to open the neighbors car diagonal from my house. Like we are freaking idiots and don't lock our doors
The punks saw the first cop car and they ran twards the neighbor on the lefts yard hiding, all the while P is on the phone with his brother telling him where they are. The punks obviously didn't know that he was outside on the phone with the cops lol.. So they send a second car and the cop got out of that one and went on the wrong side of the house so P is telling his brother to tell the cop that they are on the other side of the house and could hear the cop's radio hearing his brother tell the cop exactly where they are... And the cop caught them
My surveillance camera had the punks on camera on the side of the house. P's camera was fixed onto the driveways ( our driveways are right next to each other)
So apparently we slept thru all that crap and my dh said that they were lucky that I wasn't awake because I tend to want to shoot first then ask questions later. *shrug
Dummies, I bet they will think twice before pulling that shiz again

Were they able to get anything on the punks? A similar situation happened by me and the cops couldn't do anyhing b/c nothing was done/taken/damaged.....stinks.
Mrs Pepperpot is a lady who always copes with the tricky situations that she finds herself in....

P filed a trespassing charges on them..
Since they actually didn't steal anything that's all he could do.

I'm glad they were caught but I can't even imagine living somewehere where I needed surveillance cameras..heck we don't even lock our houses up around here.
Be who you are and say what you feel, those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

15 years ago I moved to TN from CA. Back then, people did not lock their doors, left their keys in the ignition etc. As a CA'n, I would never, ever do that even if my neighbor was Mr.Rogers. There has been three home invasions in the last year and a half. I havent have any problems since I put a bumper sticker on my car, "If in doubt, empty the clip."

I live in the city. And apparently I do have to lock my doors. The security cameras are because of shiz like what happened. Plus I have a paranoia streak when it comes to protecting my property and my family.. Even if I lived in the country I would still have cameras... It's how I roll
