The good thing about it all is that there are T.V. and radio stations that's not catering to Micheal Jacksons death, so thank goodness for other choices.
On Friday night ABC or NBC showed her ( Farrah) Diary Special and MSNBC and TVland showed it yesterday also(Saturday).**CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN **

He is much better than that sham wow guy. Now he gets on my nerves. But I was watching something one night and they were talking with Billy Mays and he was funny and seemed like a nice guy. I dont like commercials or infomercials, but hey at least he was working and supporting his family unlike some other men
If ya ain't careful, this flea will bite your arse!

I never heard anything about there being actual proof that MJ did anything to a child. I personally don't know if he did or didn't do anything, I'm not his judge and jury. But what I can't wrap my mind around is that he spent personal time with a LOT a LOT a LOT of children over the years. Yet no one can find any proof of him doing anything wrong. Wasn't it 2 people came forward trying to charge him with something, and nothing came of either? I'm sorry, I just don't think anyone is THAT good at hiding a problem like that. I could be wrong of course, but it doesn't make sense.
I know he paid off one of them at least, but I can't imagine MJ going through the whole ordeal for continued months. MY personality might state - "Yeah, just BRING it on, I didn't do anything wrong and you can't prove otherwise!" - but I don't think that's everyone's take. There ARE people out there in the world that cannot mentally and emotionally take THAT kind of spotlight. Entertaining people, making music, dancing like a nut - that's one kind of spotlight. Hateful insinuations that might not be true - yet damaging to a person no matter WHAT the truth is (which is totally bogus in my book) - is a spotlight some just can't handle.
No matter what, it was the accusers job to bring the proof of wrong doing and the limited time I paid attention, there was no proof. One of the recent articles I read on his death stated the same, nothing was ever found. If MJ being a pedophile turns out to be true, then I hope God will dole out true justice in some form or another. If it's really not true - how sad that he had to pass on with THAT memory left. I can't imagine being accused of such a horrible thing, being innocent of it, yet still being hated for it.
Personally I thougth he was a rather odd duck, but he was odd with himself - Weird pets, weird lifestyle, weird surgery. But - I never walked a mile in his shoes, I never lived his life, I never had an INSANE spotlight on me for 95% of my life. I never had my Father do the things to me that his did to him and the rest of the kids. Regardless, the man was a solid entertainer, a genuis with music and dance. I mean, Fred Astaire admired his talent!. Hehe, when the undeniable Fred gives you props, you KNOW you've arrived!Last edited by Ambrianna; 06-28-2009 at 06:37 PM.

Oddly enough, I'm not seeing/hearing a deluge of MJ news/music. I turned on MTV2 the night he passed and while others said they were seeing MJ videos, I saw Disturbed. I turned on MTV and saw some reality show about being 16 and pregnant. (Yet another MTV winner... )
The two hip hop stations I know of, I think I've heard one MJ song. One station is playing a "tribute" to MJ songs, but they play them like one every so often, not continuously. The classic rock station here has talked MORE about it then any other station and they don't play his music! Heh, figure THAT one out.*~*~*~*~*~*~*

You know, John called me when he heard on the talk radio station that Billy Mays had died... and he was truly upset about it. We watched that show, a lot. He had/has a gorgeous little girl and a son too...
I am truly going to miss him... MJ, I could couldn't care either way... I liked some of his songs but not all. John liked him a lot. I don't know much about Farrah, other than she was one of the original Angels. And well, Ed McMahon never brought me my millions... *That last part is a joke!*Get the feeling the theme song here might be: I Hate Everything about You - 3 Days Grace

[QUOTE=msginna;96179160]See...I totally understand where you are coming from. But, it wasn't as if she was expressing your point of view, i.e., he was never convicted of molesting a child, etc. She flat out posted, "So what if he raped little boys?" That statement totally floored me. After hearing that, I realized that she probably represented the type of mother who allowed their child to be around MJ just because of the opportunities it afforded her.
I don't know if he molested any children. As you say, it is between him and God. I do know based on his own comments that he certainly had no concept of appropriate behavior and proper boundaries which should be kept between an adult and a child. And, it was these comments (there is nothing more loving than sharing a bed with a child) that actually mirror statements said by pedophiles.
As someone who was molested as a child...I heard all the excuses about how what I experienced was simply an expression of "love' from an adult. So, forgive me if I'm a little skeptical.Never argue with an idiot. It will bring you down to his level and he’ll win because of experience.

Michael, I hope you are in Heaven with Barry White and Luther Vandross singing beautiful songs. I will continue to pray for your soul.

What I did find amusing and pathetic was the fans who staked out the Michael Jackson star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. (I live in LA and am quite familiar with the Walk of Fame. I frequently work premieres for Disney and know where a lot of the "stars" are.)
The problem was that the star in the sidewalk that people worshiped did not belong to Michael Jackson the "King of Pop". It belonged to the Michael Jackson who hosted a syndicated talk radio show for many years.
The 'real' star is in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater (now called Mann's Chinese Theaters) and it was temporarily covered up with a red carpet which was put in place for the "Bruno" premiere.
Geesh...what some people will do to get on TV.Never argue with an idiot. It will bring you down to his level and he’ll win because of experience.
