the principal should really not do this. it makes it a losing battle for those of us who teach kids to understand and hopefully develop at least an appreciation of music...ALL music.

To the OP...i have a third grader who is a real talker too! we're working on it...most of the time it gets better and easier for them as they mature. We still ahve some days were it's a struggle. Hang in there!

Lets put it this way, I am about 50 pounds heavier, and I have nursed three kids....want YOUR friends to see me in a mini and halter.....didn't think so.
Are you related to my mother?

I was kicked out and suspended more times then I care to count. I dropped out went back got my diploma. I must say so myself I turned out ok. I have been married to the same man for 16 years I own a home only have had 3 jobs this last one for almost 9 years.

Most likely she has learned her lesson if not you seem to know what things will hurt her most. For the comment about the housecoat comment my DD kept oversleeping missing her bus and I drove her to school hair all messed up in my housecoat I told her next time she missed it I was getting out giving her a big kiss in front of all her friends like that. She was on time after that.

I'm hoping she'll grow out of her bad behavior, but I've known the kid for nearly 6 yrs, since she was 3 and she's a little demon.
