My darling innocent little dd
My darling innocent little dd who would never ever do anything to get into trouble....lol yea I know better then to believe that.
Dh and I got a call today from principle from her school, now remember she is in First grade...seems she can't keep her mouth shut and her mind on work. She has gotten into trouble more and more since school started, she has maybe one sticker a week and bad notes the rest.
Well I guess the teacher had enough of her and her "bff" and sent them both to the principles office. They both have detention tomorrow after school for an hour.
Now I have a fifth grader and a second grader who has never seen the inside of the principles office....guess the third time is the charm...LOL

My husbands niece is in the 2nd grade and has already been suspened twice.
I went to school for 11yrs. ( i skipped my sophmore year ) and not once was I ever suspended.
I just can't imagine a college wanting a student with such disiplinary problems.

At my Dd's school the principal makes the kids listen to opera or Frank Sinatra or something they will surely hate during detention! LOL Works pretty good on some of the kids too!

She is hating it today, She is not allowed to watch tv or play outside. It is killing her not to be able to watch Hannah Montana and her other Disney channel shows...lol Oh well maybe she needs to listen to her teacher from now on.

She isn't a bad student, she just likes to talk a lot..her and the other girl are always together, the teacher has to try to separate them when she is teaching.

I had that problem with my DD when she was in the 4th or 5th grade. I told her she wouldn't like it if I got one more note home. She did, and i went and sat with her all day in class. In my ratty robe, fuzzy slippers, hair in curlers, the works. I embarassed the hell out of her. No problems since. She is an honor roll Jr. now. I threaten my 15 year old DS with the same punishment, only a diferent outfit. Mine is a leather mini from the 80's thigh high leather boots and a halter top. Lets put it this way, I am about 50 pounds heavier, and I have nursed three kids....want YOUR friends to see me in a mini and halter.....didn't think so.

I was known as the social butterfly throughout school...I would chat with friends all day instead of listening to the teachers...the only trouble I got into was the teacher trying to seperate me from my friends but I just made new ones that way lol plus I was put out in the hall to do study time during class by myself, which I didnt mind either.....but times are different now thats for sure!.............to me that just goes to show she has great social skills

I'm sure she'll learn her lesson after getting punished! No Hannah Montana must have been tough, lol. My DD was chatty too and got a detention when she was in first or 2nd grade. She's graduating from a top college in a few weeks. It didn't ruin her.
