Even if the Humane Society tells you your dog isn't there- go in anyways. The girl I work with had her two labs run away and when she called they said they weren't there. She just happened to be posting a flyer on thier window and went to look herself. Well, turns out they did hasve them both and had had them for two days. I hope and pray you get Sweet Pea back. Keep us posted please.

we do not have an animal shelter or anything like that around here, and i have posted it everywhere. we have a call-in want-ad show on our local radio, and i called there this morning, and plan to keep calling. we still have her brother, and he is grieving for her so bad, i worry about him, too. why do people do something like this? couldn't they see she is a happy, very well taken care of, spoiled rotten baby that is so, so loved? it is breaking my heart, worrying about her. thanks for the suggestions, and i will keep you posted......

    why??

    because of the economy!

either 1) they want a dog and can't afford one (not even a sick one)

    or

    2) SELL IT -- turn a fast dollar from the highest bidder -- even if the bidder will kill it or drug it or whatever.
2 days from now, tomorrow will be yesterday.

I'm glad you found your fur baby and she is ok. Fur babies can worry you as much as a child can.

I posted last night that I was glad you got your dog back, let this be a lesson to everyone to have their dog low jacked. We have had around 10 dogs around here, "breed dogs", been stolen. I have microchipped my dog because he has been lost before ((I turned my back to say something and POOF he was gone)) Only downside IS, if you live in a rural area local vets might not have a chip scanner. However, all the vets in my area now do, at my urging. I am so glad that you got your dog back, you did the right thing posting a pic right away

OH, WOW!! So, glad you got your baby back!!!! I went through the same thing two years ago, and was a wreck for 23 hours until two angels saw my Chihuahua wandering and cornered him, assuming he was lost.

I am so happy for you, I know just what you are feeling!!!!
We had us, we had him, now we have everything.
